There are a couple email addresses listed for customers who have employee retirement plans or who want to learn more about Prudential services.

There are also a couple of contact forms available for mutual funds and technical support.

You’ll have to work through your technical support problem to reach the email form. Prudential claims the above link is for email technical support, but we could not find any email form no matter how many questions we searched or answers we clicked.

Our Experience

The customer support hotline is confusing considering the various departments available from the company. Customers will need to listen to the available options in order to connect with the correct department. In the event you select the incorrect department, continue to hold and a live agent will answer the call.

After approximately 2 minutes, the representative answered our call. We wanted information relating to the security of our transmissions, considering the policies deal with sensitive information. The agent discussed the security of the site and also explained the site is encrypted to prevent identity theft. We received the information requested without feeling overwhelmed by the agent. At times customer service agents don’t handle situations in the best manner. Is this your case? Comment on your experiences to shed light on the customer service team at Prudential.

  1. Sent in 3 payment coupons 6/1/14, check #8935, in the amount of $244.58. Just received a letter saying we were in lapse of $188.00 and needed to sent in that amount again to re-instate us. I have always sent in the same 3 coupons the 1st of each month as that is when my husband gets his small retirement check and this is the 1st time you have ever said we were in lapse. Is this right or is there a mistake? I sure don’t want to send another $188.00 when I can use that on another bill. Please answer ASAP, OK?? Thank you–Margaret Anne Oswalt

Since late May, early June, I have made NUMEROUS call to customer service to resolve the issue of a mix-up with both my and my husband’s life insurance policies issued by Time Insurance which you which you acquired when you took over the Hartford Insurance Co. I did talk with a Customer Service
    Rep. and gave her the routing an account number of my checking accounts to cover May, June,and July which came to $150. for my policy and $225. for my husband’s. I need to know the status of these policies as I have no indication that this money was released from my account with Cumberland County Credit Union. Also, I have used my credit union bill pay for August and September and these electronic transfers have been released. The account numbers of the policies are:3139731 for David J. Bois birthdate 8/26/38 and 03295894 for Justine S. Bois. If this cannot be resolved, I plan to seek help from my State’s Attorney General or a federal insurance watchdog. I look forward to a speedy resolve to this situation. Also, I have many confirmation#'[s to attest to my many calls during which I was told that the situation would be resolved in a timely manner, i.e. 2-3 business days.

    Why is mail that was received on the 17th still “pending” on the 25th? I mailed this on 11/ 7 and cannot imagine that it took ten days for you to receive it but was told by your minion in the Phillipines that it was received on the 17th and now on the 25th, is still “pending”

I am trying to get some information on some annuity accounts my deceased parents had and you would think it was worth tens of millions of dollars…It is probably only a few hundred at best and the customer service people cant understand what I want and I cant understand what they are saying. it is ridiculous, that’s after you mess with the automated system for 20 min..

  6. Got our bills for long term care insurance. The enclosed note said the mailing address for payments has changed to Pensacola Florida 32502
    However, the address on the part of the bill to be returned with payment says the address is Pensacola, Florida 32591.
    Which is correct?

  7. I have never had such poor service from any company. After three attempts to get their information sent to the State of MI it still has not bee done. This time I was told the company could not find any record of the person who was their customer.The last person I talked to would only give me a first name. I guess in that was I do not know who to hold responsible for any follow up that she promised would be coming. I would advice that no one use Prudential Insurance Co. This customer service does not even deserve 1 star.

      Christine, the agent, was very helpful. My question concerned a 1099R form that I had received. In over 38 years of being a Prudential customer, I had never received a 1099R before. After giving her the security and amounts information on the 1099R form, she told me that she had nothing on the records concerning my 1099R. She also gave me the approximate death benefits and cash amounts as of this date at my request. As of this date I have had no distributions received or rolled over into other accounts, nor did I expect any. I hope my tax person understands this if this should become an issue in the future!
