Our Experience

The Xcel Energy company automated system will tell you it cannot understand your request when you press 0, but that’s a lie. Press 0 three times and you’ll be routed to an agent. Our wait time was less than one minute. The agent told us there was an email address for customer service, which she verified was the one we already found. She also told us the mailing address for the corporate office without asking any additional questions. The call was simple and efficient.

  1. SUNDAY evening I sent a work order for a street light outage near our home. Tuesday a serviceman came and fixed the light. Great service. Thank you

  2. We also have a home on lake Magnor Richardson Wi. There is an old tree On road side area under your power lines, which you have to trim …is it possible that you cut down this (not so good looking) tree so you don’t have to trim it anymore, and what would it cost. Please reply

    • Craig, the customer centers are not open to the public. Just call them, they’ll help you; if you haven’t already called them, that is.

  4. ALL I WANT TO DO IS ORDER A TEMPORARY CHANGE OF BILLING ADDRESS.SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE. SURELY A FEW PEOPLE GO AWAY FOR AWHILE AND CONTINUE TO PAY THEIR BILLS FROM A DIFFERENT LOCATION.
