Our Experience
When we contacted the customer service department, we were able to bypass the system by pressing four (4). After waiting less than two (2) minutes, we were able to speak with a live agent. Our conversation centered on payment programs relating to making a late payment. We explained to the agent that we found the payment assistance programs, but no information relating to late payments. The agent explained the assistance program and ended the call. The overall experience was excellent. The wait time was low and the Washington Gas representative was knowledgeable. Thoughts? Take a moment to comment below.
I had a new meter, regulator and shut off valve installed. I didn’t request it. Gas was shut off. I called to have it restored and relit. Agent told me it couldn’t be done till the following day. I was told I would have to wait at home for them to come by. I now have to take off a day from work to have gas restored. I was given no warning of the replacement so couldn’t plan ahead. No set time when the person would be doing the restoration of gas. This is the worst customer service. No notification of this work being done. I guess the customer isn’t important. Being in public safety, fire department,
taking off work with little notice isn’t easy.
