Mailing Address

The general mailing address for Tricare is listed on the bottom of every webpage, but this address is not the one you’ll use if you need to file claims or send information to your health plan. There are different health care companies behind the Tricare system so you’ll need to contact your health care provider for the appropriate mailing address.

Official Website

The main website for the Tricare system is located at http://www.tricare.ml. You can learn more about the program or contact the system coordinator for your health care plan via information provided on the site. However, this site is not the site for your personal health care company. Several companies, including Humana, TriWest and HealthNet provide insurance for military personnel and families.

Customer Service Email

There is no email address for Tricare, but there is a long list of contact information and forms on the Forms page of the Tricare site.

Our Experience

The Tricare customer service line is specific to the region in which you live. If you live in the south, for instance, the number will take you to the Humana health insurance company. There is a long list of options to choose from and you cannot press 0 bypass the system. If you do press 0 you will be moved back to the beginning of the option list.

  1. I tried to get ahold of someone from tricare about a claim I received, I was switched 3 times to different regions them put on hold each time time with a wait time of 30 minutes at each region, as I was holding on region North, your office closed and I was hung up on without explaining any problem that I had, which was for some reason you now have my ssn incorrect and claims are not getting payed for and I am receiving the bills. You have my sponsor ID *** ** 7907 it should be 7967, is there any way that I can get ahold of someone to fix this or should I get ahold of my senator, Debby Stabenow.

  2. How do I get the phone number for the Tricare service representative for the Beaufort SC area to get an access code to complete sign up for entry into the new system for Tricare East. No phone number received to complete process. Where is the nearest Tricare service center near Beaufort SC? The initial Credentialing approval letter states “Your specific Tricare service representative can be contacted through the nearest Tricare service center.” Yet they did not include a number to call, the numbers I found are no longer in service.

  3. Hi,
I jesse Tucker ,have been on your line for over 45 mins waiting for a rep . after calling your Service said your Wait time is only 5 min here I sit Waiting & Waiting & Waiting are your people just for lunch or what .I have no more faith in your service .my next message will be to POTUS ! And face book to make a posting there , this is not the first time you have done this to your customers ,the last time I Waited to 2 + hours and you Egnor .

  4. It would be really efficient if you could note the old phone numbers along with the new ones to use and do the same with the fax numbers, and while you’re at it provide current provider and member forms for appeals, reconsiderations and grievances, so we don’t have to click on the entire internet to find what we need.

  5. It is almost imposible to talk with someone. I am totally frustrate this is a freaking joke. I want to know the Status of my claim. I call and the pass me another person then the person hang up. Very bad costumer sevices. Very disappoint.

  6. when I call a direct line (Tricare retires dental) I do not expect to have more than 10 commercials to listen to then get told number has been changed.

  7. I have spent hours searching for a USPS mailing address for: TRICARE East CRSC Travel Benefit Team . Phone calls and messaging have not been answered Please send the address to my Email address listed below.

  8. I have tried the Tricare for Life phone number many many times. There is no option for coordination of benefit. When I press 1 for Eligibility I hear the privacy info, but then the message is either good by or there is an automatic hang up.
This is extremely frustrating. The radiology center I went to says Tricare said they were not secondary–they are the secondary after Medicare. I am over 65.
How can an error be corrected if there is no avenue to get through. Totally non-exist ant customer service.
