Our Experience
Time Magazine’s customer service line is an automated system. The first voice you hear will give you the address for the customer service website. You are then asked to press 1 to 4 depending on the reason you are calling. If you wait and press none of the numbers your call will be transferred to customer service immediately. The customer service agent we dealt with was extremely difficult to understand. A heavy accent made it hard to comprehend what the agent was saying. The only question we asked was for the mailing address for the editor, but our agent was unable to provide us with an address.

I have run across a photo of my wife’s grandfather and great uncle that appers to be a page from your magazine. The date was July 28 1959. They received an award for Arizona top service station manager. There is one of them and one of them getting the award. I’ve searched old issues and can’t find which one it’s in. Any help with finding that issues would be much welcomed. His name was Ernest Voelkel.
In your June 2 issue there is a substantial piece on transporting crude oil, especially from North Dakota, by rail and the pitfalls. You discuss pipelines and indicate that is safer. But you never mention the Keystone XL pipeline and the very real fact that, if built, it could transport North Dakota oil other than by rail. I can only assume that that is because you prefer political correctness to actual journalism, and would like the Keystone XL killed. Your article on Tom Steyerer (sp?) in same issue only confirms that. I am not a subscriber, and so long as you engage in political correctness at the expense of actual journalism, I will not be one.

Your newest cover, “Is He Worth It?”, leads one to think is The Time worth it? I will never buy another copy. That is the cheapest, most deplorable comment a national magazine could make. I would say that an American soldier’s life is worth more than your magazine. Too bad. Time used to be an excellent publication.
In the June 23, 2014 issue page 17 , you spotlight failing bridges. The bridge in Pittsburgh Pa is not the Liberty Bridge, it is the Fort Pitt Bridge that is pictured. We do have a Liberty Bridge but that is not what you have pictured.

I am appalled at the lack of professional integrity being displayed by TIME. It is absurd to disregard the online poll and the winner of the people’s choice for person of the year. That you would include Donald Trump when he only got 1.8% compared to Bernie’s over 10% is ridiculous. If you can attempt to justify that Bernie did not influence the media then you are in denial. Despite the media blackout on Bernie’s coverage he still managed to persevere and the news went from claiming he is unelectable to acknowledging his rise in the polls, that he is not only close to Clinton but is also doing better than every republican candidate, he gets bigger crowds than Trump and Clinton, he set record highs in individual campaign donors and debate watch parties, overcomes gridlock, appeals to voters in both major parties, inspires people to be truly passionate about his issues, this nation’s future, getting involved, and actually voting, his issues have developed the tone and platforms of Clinton, O’Malley, and the democratic party this election season, while also passing more legislation than any other candidate, goes right back to work in Congress immediately after having surgery, and works tirelessly on his campaign to help the people. Not to mention he was the only candidate to appear on the cover of Rolling Stone and TIME! He has done all this without relying on bigoted and incendiary comments to get him headlines. So if you do not amend the short list then you are part of the problem. You are the reason (free) press is dying, you are controlled by your owner Time-Warner, a major contributor to Clinton’s campaign. By giving Trump another platform you are assisting his campaign which doesn’t speak out against the violence done by his supporters and thus are fueling the fires of hate. And by denying Sanders you are assisting Clinton’s campaign. This is biased journalism, this is a disgrace, and this demonstrates a regrettable trend, a lack of professional integrity.

I have checked half a dozen TIME sites but cannot find how to contact somebody to tell them that my subscription is paid up till 2017 but I have not received any issues for the past five weeks I live in Queensland, Australia and I have been a subscriber for over 20 years and enjoy the magazine but I’m not impressed with so called ‘customer service’ when I’m trying to find out why I’m not getting what I paid for.

I have never had so much trouble trying to pay a bill online until today.
I could not find but one spot to request paying my bill online. After every attempt there was another issue to try and deal with. So in the end I still do not know if my payment went through. This may cause me never to order Time again, due to the fact I feel you have made it this difficult on purpose. I need to know if payment of $13.34 went through. Please respond!
The man I spoke with had an accent which made it a bit more difficult. My magazine was still being forwarded even tho I had changed my address prior to leaving Fl. When the magazine is forwarded I have been receiving the front cover only. It is in a plastic envelope from the postmaster…..apologizing for the loss of the news pages. There is another number to call to replace missed issues but who has time to jump thru the hoops? Just remember the time consuming tasks that are required to receive your copy…esp when it is renewal time for your subscription!!!
I have been a Time subscriber for many years. One thing that really irritates me is that I start receiving weekly notices to renew months in advance of when I want to subscribe. That is, my subscription expires in October, 2016, and it is July and I am receiving notices. I will not renew until September and the mountain of paper that you will send me between now and then is a total waste of time and money. Please do not, I repeat, do not send me these notices. If I have to cancel my subscription to stop this nonsense, I will. Of course, you will keep sending me appeals to resubscribe until well past the day of my death. Waste!

Some time go (perhaps as long as three-months) you sent a mailer soliciting subscribers. When subscribing, a person would receive a free gift, The description of the gift is “ULTRONIC WEATHER STATION CLOCK” My question is: is that clock still available as a gift for subscribing?

I just cancelled our subscription after many years of reading Time – in fact, one way or the other I have been reading Time for almost 50 years, but have had enough. Your left leaning agenda and bias has grown too extreme and obvious. I relied on Time for objective information and news, you commitment to that form of journalism has somehow gone the way of the dodo bird. My wife and consider ourselves independents, as do our grown children, but nevertheless we cannot recommend nor subscribe to Time any longer. Presumably your management has decided that you can make a financial success of your path forward, like SNL and Colbert.

I have subscribed to Time magazine for many years. Recently I’ve wondered if I may be missing an issue…maybe due to a mail problem. Today, Sept.11th, I received the latest issue dated Sept. 18, 2017, and I have also received the previous issue dated Sept. 4, 2017.

So far, I have not been able to locate it in Time’s old copy files. I am writing to tell you why I will not renew my subscription. The magazine has become almost unreadable, and the Person of the Year issue takes the cake. The whole idea of dividing the magazine into The Brief, The View, and The Features and Time Off is ridiculous. (And why put the headings in a pale font??) Just bring back the old format, which worked well for decades. Still, the story on Macron was interesting. Going forward we will manage nicely with The New Yorker, The Economist, and the online New York Times. Wherever the Koch Brothers are involved in ANY way, I am out.

I recently subscribed to Time under a Senior offer, the offer included a Multi-Function LED Weather Clock which arrived today, Upon opening the package, the clock literally fell out of the packaging, It was broken and does not work. I am requesting a new Clock to replace the broken that was sent to me. I would include my TIME subscription number but earlier in the week I received a card informing me that my 1st issue would be delayed for 30 days.
All I know is The Times did nothing to help express the Opiate Crisis except to skirt the true story to suit their pockets. Go to hell

In spite of me contacting our local post office I am missing at least six editions of the magazine. I am told they do not have them, so where can they be? I am a little frustrated they blame it on overseas post, but where can I go now?
My 7/13/18 magazine arrived in a USPS envelope with only an 1/8 of the cover in tact. No magazine. Instead, I got a coverless copy of Rolling Stone magazine.

However, in the Sept. 17, 2018 issue there was an article on John McCain that showed a picture of former Presidents Obama and Bush at his eulogy with their names. President Clinton was also in the picture but you people didn’t even put his name with the other two. I thought that was very disrespectful of Time magazine. I was very disappointed in your magazine. Please write about how professional state workers do NOT make enough money to pay their bills, fix their cars, heat their meager homes….same as teachers. I have 72 master’s level credits and am fully certified but am given 37.5 hours per week, very poor medical, prescription, dental, and have to keep my house at 50 degrees, could only afford a 97 VW Jetta for 1000k…and that’s half on a credit card. I use my cell phone light to cut the electric bull down. U use electronic throws and hide out on my recliner er, trying to keep warm. I was required to be highly trained to get the job, but compensation stinks. I am, hiwey, very thankful to finally get a job, as not being the right color, and not speaking Spanish have been deterrents to finding a job at all. The fact that I was an orphan, extremely poor, raised two children with disability by myself, which made me a true minority, meant nothing, because my ski. Is cream colored. So many issues, and TIME likes to focus on just a few and usually only if the subjects are brown- colored. I’d like to see something better come out if TIME- a magazine that aims to be balanced and righteous.

I have trying to get a letter to the editor but the system has an error. It is so difficult to contact a news magazine. Why? Anyway I expect to be arrested by the FBI, Secret Service or the DOJ. I have recently sent my opinion to many Democrats and Conservative republicans. I have never threatened any one. But my opinions were strong. I have requested a meeting with Mitch McConnell about why he hates Democrats like me. I am in his district. Nobody has responded. As citizens in our districts we have no voice or representation. Even the President of the United States call us Democrat voters names and his campaign rally people laugh and mock us. This is not politics as usual. This is civil war. I have requested meeting with many local clergy to ask why God hates Democrats and why shouldn’t the Democrat party start civil militias. We can no longer rely on our leaders and even the clergy are unreliable. But I am a Christian and I can not allow our Nation to fall while I have breath. As I said I expect the conservative republican government to be at my door soon.

I received an invoice for a subxcription with an account numbcer 4053358967. I had a subscription but did not renew. According to your collection letter I ordered a subscription at some time. You dd not supply the date I suppossedly placed the order . I have canceled this subscription in the MyAccount section since I never asked for my subscription to be renrewed.
I cannot recommend a TIME subscription. I receive a copy approximately every 6-8 weeks, if I’m lucky. The folks at TIME do not provide a phone number where I can contact them. They have essentially stolen my money which I sent for a 2 year subscription. I do not expect to ever hear from them.

If this is your best effort at customer service, I fear your publication, like so many excellent publications, will soon be gone.
