Social Media

Although several companies provide feedback to customer concerns on social media, Ocwen is not as active. There were several customers concerns raised on the Facebook and Twitter pages with no answers from the customer service department. This is concerning considering the nature of the concerns. There were a few answers from the customer service department, but the response time was more than 7 days.

Customer Service Email

There was no indication that the email address listed on the website was for the customer service department. We sent an email to the customer service department asking for the hours of operation as well as a direct email address to the customer service department. After sending our message, we received an automated response stating the customer service department would respond within five (5) business days.

Our Experience

We contacted the customer service department and encountered an automated system. In the event you are not an existing customer, press the pound (#) key to reach the next set of options. After making our selection, we pressed nine (9) in order to reach the customer service department. We waited approximately two (2) minutes before the customer service agent answered the call. When the agent answered the call, we asked several questions relating to payment plans and debt reduction plans. The customer service agent explained the programs and ended the call. The overall experience was better than expected, considering there were several comments online stating the customer service department was less than stellar. Thoughts?
