Customer Service Email

Calling and writing can be time consuming. Email is the fastest means of contacting nTelos customer service, especially if the issue is general and requires no immediate response. Customers can email nTelos customer service at customerfirst@ntelos.com. You may want to include your account number or phone number in the email, for a more personalized response, but never include your online account password, security pass code or any other information that could be used to steal your identity.

Our Experience

Your call to nTelos customer service will be answered with a sales message or company news message. After the message you will be given a long list of options. Choose 1 for account balances, 2 for sales, 3 for lost/stolen/voicemail problems, 4 for tech support, 5 for contract terms and conditions. If you press nothing the call will be transferred to a customer service agent. We were placed on hold where the automated system told us the wait times were longer than normal and we could request a call back if desired. The wait times on the day we called were in excess of 10 minutes.

  1. i use your service through an aircard (franklin U210) for internet service. this service recently has been practically non-existant. certain times of the day i cannot use it at all. it goes dormant or to another 1x tower in my area. i’ve reseached this and feel your tower that is in place is getting too much traffic at peak times and not allowing full service to your customers. this was also confirmed by more than one of your reps. if this cannot be resolved i have no choice but to go to another srevice. why pay for a service that does not do what it should. i want to continue using your service because i travel a good bit. your competitors have offered to help out but i do believe in loyalty, having been in sales for a number of years. my biggest problems arise when i try to send photos which is what i do a lot of. thank you and i look forward to a reply

  2. I purchased your mobile hotspots. It never works. When i called customerservice they informed me that your hotspot was inferior. And would. Not work with my p3. What did i pay for. Fix it or take down. When i had Verizon i had no problem with it. Would like an answer to this questing.

  3. RE/ACCT #175915176 Have had AN ACCOUNT FOR APPROXIMATELY A YEAR AND A HALF, NO PROBLEMS, NTELOS WAS GREAT. On Aug.15, we moved from Va. to Seven Devils,N.C.which is obviously out of your service area.We had almost no service. No internet, no voice mail, no text, had to go outside to make or receive a call. If I was not outside, the phone wouldn’t even ring.We would have to drive 12 miles to Boone in order to retrieve messages. When I called to cancel the service, I was told that we would have to pay the early cancellation fee.This seems unfair, since ntelos could no longer work for us.I would hope that you would reconsider.   4. Netelos customer service and techs support over the phone are great. They will do all they can do to fix your problem if they can and they don’t give up trust me I know. I have probably had more phone problems. With netelos then every account they have.the store in hampton va. Is the best to will do all the can to fix phone and make you fill at home.

    Now the store that was in the Norfolk mall with Apple the worst the manager is rude. I’m a nice guy but 8 hrs trying to fix a phone and my wife said just end the account and start with a new phone. He said if you talk with that tone again you will leave. I lost it told him give me my dam phone don’t speak eight hrs so far to fix a phone and my wife hasn’t went crazy I think he could have been a little niceier. The hampton store fixed the phone that night two hrs after closing. Ten hr process. Next day had phone problems again. Long story short. The little people in the company have very good customer service. Now Norfolk store manger ,District manager and high end people at netelos arethe worst and rudest people there. You have district managers over riding phone tech on phone problems. Makes nosense they get paid to do that. That’s why they are called tech support. So maybe if all you high end rude people lost your job and they gave the low end people your job. There would be in problem with anything at netelos. Norfolk manager not there anymore or the store he works in the Apple store as the little guy at the door that Waves his hand. Maybe staring there he can get some customer service skills.

    I have had the Ntelos office in Waynesboro, VA (Main Street) fax to HQ a copy of the Military DD-214 and copy of my retirement Police ID in order to receive a 5% discount on our service. first Fax was 3 March-2015/ by Nikki Mooneyham/second 6-14-15 by Jason, and here it is 2 September 2015, and NO discount. Can someone please advise me why? If their is no Discount for Veterans and/or Emergence Reponder personnel please don’ advertise it. Thanks.

  8. Hello I just arrived back in the U.S @ 14:00 hours 3-10-2015. From deployment (Over seas). And found my phone # will be discontinued @ some time tonight. Please !! is there something I can do to keep my phone on as to not lose all of my contacts? This will be a huge problem for me I pray something can be done to Help.   10. I was in the pantops Charlottesville store and was talking quietly to a rep with a beard about a lost phone. Noticed the other rep got real close to eavesdrop my conversation. I did not talk to him for a reason and he had no business listening to my problem.He should feel very lucky I acted like a gentleman. Someone should teach him customer service and professional manners when dealing with consumers.
