When you contact the customer service department, you can reach a live agent by pressing three (3) for residential service and four (4) for business service. We selected option relating to residential service. Instead of reaching the customer service department, you will encounter another set of options. You will need to listen to the options carefully due to the volume of messages. We pressed nine (9) until the operator answered the call. We asked to speak with a customer service agent and the operator transferred the call. When the agent answered the call, we asked if the company participated in the LiHEAP program. The agent explained the company did and informed us of the prerequisites and qualifying standards. Overall, the experience was better than expected, except for the initial call.
