MediaCom customers can log in to their residential accounts at http://mediacomcable.com. This official website explains the products, services and bundles offered by MediaCom, but it also serves as the customer service portal. The HELP section of the site offers answered to many of the common questions customers have and with call waiting times varying from one to 10 minutes, you may want to search the HELP section for your question while you’re on hold.
Customer Service Email
If customer service emails are the best way for you to contact customer service, feel free to use the contact form on the MediaCom website at http://mediacomcable.com/contact_us.php. The form requires you to share personal information like a telephone number, which we find a little intrusive because there is no guarantee on the form page that promises customers that information won’t be sold to telemarketers and other companies.
Business account holders can email customer service using the business contact form at http://business.mediacomcable.com/contact-us/.
We called the MediaCom customer service line. The automated system allowed us to press * to access customer service. We were asked to explain why we were calling so we just pressed 0 three times. The call was answered in less than one minute, but we were asked to verify our phone number immediately. We had not entered a phone number and we pressed the * to tell the automated system we did not have a MediaCom account. When we told the customer service representative we did not have an account he acted a little upset. We asked for the locations where MediaCom was available, but the representative told us he did not have that information but we could find it on the website. We did find it on the website.
