I have tried sending feedback to Jimmy Johns through their website, but both times I received a 404 error with an idiotic comment after submitting my complaints and received no confirmation that they went through. The problem I have is that the food I picked up was incorrect, even though the instructions on the ticket were clearly the way I ordered them. Obviously I should have taken the time to open up the sandwiches and actually look at them, but since my food came the way I ordered it before, and because I assume the people preparing the food can read, I simply relied on the ticket being accurate as enough confirmation. When I got home and looked at my sandwich, I saw mayonnaise, and lots of it, which I had definitely requested they leave off. I called the store immediately, and the manager ( I assume, since he didn’t clearly identify himself even after I asked) told me to bring the sandwich back to the store and they would replace it, and he offered me a cookie for the trouble. I don’t think that is adequate, but I don’t have the time or energy to argue about that with someone who doesn’t take his job seriously enough to make sure his employees are doing what they are payed to do. I asked that the mayonnaise be left off my sandwich because I cannot eat mayonnaise. If the problem had been that something I asked for was left off, I would be irritated, of course, but it wouldn’t be a very big deal, and I could still eat the sandwich. However, since I can’t safely eat mayonnaise, it’s a different thing entirely. It may not seem very important to anybody at Jimmy Johns, but I take food seriously, and at the very least I expect the people preparing my food to do their jobs, even if they don’t really care. The managers and supervisors should take it seriously, especially considering the fact that there are so many food allergies these days. When someone asks that something be removed from their food, it may not just be a matter of taste, but a matter of safety. Considering the fact that I would have to bring the sandwich all the way back to the store because the people working there did not do there jobs, I think common sense should have prompted the manager to refund the price of the sandwich or offer a coupon for a free sandwich next time I ordered from them. When the food is prepared correctly, it is excellent and I don’t want to be forced to stop enjoying it, but if there is no concern about my problem I don’t see what choice I’ll have.
I’ve tried several times to reset my password so I can place an order but the email you send contains a link that doesn’t work. Looks like I’ll stop eating at Jimmy Johns.
I HAVE GONE TO SEVERAL LOCATIONS BUT THE LAST 3 TIMES THEY HAVE MESSED UP ORDER FROM NO LETTUCE TO WANT SLICE BREAD AND ADD PEPPERS ANOTHER TIME NO ONIONS. MY RECEIPT IS ALWAYS CORRECT BUT THE SANDWICHES ARE WRONG. VERY FRUSTRATING. WENT IN PERSON TODAY FOR A 2 GO . NOT A BAG GIVEN AND OR NAPKINS NOT A THANK YOU. THIS LOCATION IN DELRAY NEEDS SOME TRAINING. THERE ARE SEVERAL EMPLOYEES THAT VISIT THE LOCATION AND WE MAY ALL START GOING ELSEWHERE.
