Our Experience
We seldom get excited when we contact an airline, but Hawaiian Airlines was different. We called and anticipated a lengthy wait time or a confusing automated system. What we received was the best service in the industry. The call immediately went to the customer service department. There was no wait time at all. When the agent answered the call, we asked for information regarding travel arrangements made through a travel agent. We wanted to know how to contact in the event of a problem.
The representative explained the travel agent is the point of contact, that the company could not make adjustments. Hawaiian Airlines taught me something new. The overall experience was incredible. How did you feel when you connected with the customer support team? See the comment section? Feel free to share your story.
I was just about to wrte a check to pay my bill with the MasterCard office. I noted that there was a charge for $325.00 from Hawaiian re web site purchase, 17315000682486, and asked one of your representatives for help. She was wonderful but could not do anything about the charge. I was upset that Hawaiian still had to charge me for something that I had already paid for!! Ridiculous!! I had to miss/cancel our flight because of illness on my wife’s part, nothing that she planned for. Hawaiian was decent in issuing flight vouchers for future flights. That was good. But was it necessary to attach a charge for this matter? It appears that we had paid for all the service when we arranged the initial reservations and are paying for this again. Hey, I appreciate the vouchers but is it necessary to charge a person for something he already paid for? Thanks for listening to a complaint from a loyal, longtime patron of Hawaiian — check the records of my wife and me if you don’t believe me, check our Master card action, frequent flier record.
I thought I was using the correct space for my e-mail but it is written above in your “Comments” section. I hope it is read by someone in the Customer Advocate/Relations Dept. Thanks
