A note of caution when contacting the customer support department at Goodyear. You will encounter multiple automated systems prior to connecting with the customer service department. When we called, we listened to the first set of options and subsequently stayed on the line for the customer service department. We didn’t connect with a live agent; instead connected to another set of options. This time, the call prompted customers to select 6 in order to speak with a customer care agent. We selected the option and waited more than 5 minutes before a customer agent answered the call. When the call ended, we felt a bit slighted. This is not what customer service is all about. I recently purchased new Goodyear Assurance Mileage Plus Tires. On a recent trip to Chicago the drivers front tire went flat. On viewing the tire it looked obvious to me that the tire was defective. After road service got me back on the road I stopped in to the Goodyear Tire & Service Center in Lake Zurich, Illinois on Monday August 15th at 7:00 AM. The owner (James Ivanhouse) located at the 526 W. Il Route 22, Lake Zurich promptly had him and his crew jump on the job. He reviewed the tires and said it was defective. He had everything done and ready for me to go in 20 minutes including an apology on behalf of Goodyear.
I was extremely impressed and sent an e-mail out to my friends that Goodyear stands behind their product and if they need tires they should buy Goodyear. Your company is blessed with individuals like James Ivanhouse who projects a great image of your company. During my brief stay no fewer that 4 local customers commented on the great service and trust they have in James Ivanhouse. I just thought in a world of people constantly complaining that congratulations should also be given to hard working individuals who go the extra mile for customer satisfaction.
On 9/5/18, I purchased 4 assurance all-season tires from Goodyear in Westwood, NJ. I tried for 4 days to submit my rebate application online, but because I am an old woman, I had trouble. I went to Robert Wagner for guidance, and he very graciously submitted my application online for me. Furthermore, his associate, Aaron, walked me to my car to show me where the tire pressure information is located. I commend them highly for their kindness and helpfulness.
My husband purchased 4 tires a few days ago at Just Tires. Your website for the rebate is terrible. I stopped back into the store and I would like to acknowledge Dan who helped me file the rebate offer. He works at the Beaver Creek Commons in Apex NC. He is a most valuable employee who took the time to help me.
