The DropBox customer service phone number is not toll-free, so you may be charged for the call depending on your telephone plan. You can press 1 for support or 2 for sales. If you want to leave a message simply press 0 and your call will be transferred to a message box. If you press 1 you will hear a message that says customer service is not available to customers by phone. Basically, DropBox can charge customers for storage capacity, but they are not willing to provide phone support for customers with billing issues. You must contact DropBox customer service by email if you have an issue. You can leave a message with your ticket number and the email address you used to submit the help ticket and the customer service staff will check on the status of your ticket and email you an update.

    • I have just received a pre-approved invoice for £79 from Dropbox International Unlimited Company which has been taken from my Paypal account.
      Is this my annual fee?

  1. I am not able to view my folders that have been saved to dropbox. I am also trying to download dropbox onto my new laptop and I am receving an error message stating that I do not have an internet connection (i am online typing this right now).

  2. I am unable to view an updated powerpoint presentation….I am only able to view the original powerpoint not the updated or most current version when I click on the icon.   16. Will not renew when my year is up. I’ll find a cloud storage company that actually cares about servicing their paid customers. Not being able to reach a human by phone for tech problems is inexcusable.

    PS: I hear it’s almost impossible to cancel service when the year is up so I’ll send a copy & screen shot of my cancellation to my credit card as proof in case there’s an issue.

  19. Your service sucks. It never downloads all my photos , says I have over 1,000 waiting , it picks and chooses a few each week. Now I am supposed to renew and I imagine money will be taken from my account and I can’t even contact anyone to cancel.

  21. I’ve been trying to reach someone by phone for weeks now regarding my account. I paid a one time charge a few months ago to get a larger file for drop box for my home computer. I just noticed that I have several charges on my bank statement from dropbox. I work for one of the largest non-profits in the world and we have dropbox through them, why would I want another charge when I get it for free. The customer experience has been less than desirable.   24. I have just signed up for dropbox with 1 TB storage capacity. I synced my computer to back up 4800 files (pictures/videos). It’s been sinking for three days and tells me I have two days left.   25. This has been an incredibly exhausting and frustrating experience for me. I’ve accidentally deleted my files from my smart phone and It has been nearly 1 month since I have been trying to get them recover. You can’t get anyone on the phone and it takes them so long to get back to you. My whole business and my whole life is on this so called reliable back up system. What a mess!!! I wish their recovery system was simpler.

  33. Have deleted many pics that I have synced with computer to allow for more space. Since you wanted me to buy more space, and I did not want to, I deleted the pics. Some of them have reappeared. The pics on my phone that are new cannot be synced with my computer at this time. Please fix my dropbox file so that I may get my photos off the phone to my computer.   38. Hi Drop box: I had signed up for a 30 day trail with drop box approx. 2-3 months ago. Before the 30 day trail period ended I had sent a email back to cancel Drop box. I was my understanding that it had to be before 30 days. I just notice that I my account with Drop Box was not close and I am still being Billed.   39. I have had no help from dropbox despite several attempts. When setting undropbox on my macbook, i already have it in ipad and pc i find there is an error in the email address, ie it says o and not I tried to change it bu using update email but it just tells me email already in use. I need to get it right as I want to get my shared files and folders on to the macbook. Currently just show onipad and pc. I tried putting ipad face to face to macbook to allow my shared files and cannot get that to work either. I need help urgently please. I know it is all downloaded properly. It is basic free dropbox as I am saving unshared files there

  40. You have the worst customer service I have ever encountered for what should be a respectable consumer service company. You make it absolutely impossible to reach anyone unless you want to take money.
    I have tried SO many times to resolve an issue with payment. I have been charged twice for Dropbox Plus. I reported the second charge to my bank, and then got a message – a no-reply message – saying that you had dropped the Dropbox Plus. Unfortunately I need DropBox for one of my accounts.   47. Had no idea this company scams people. I signed for up for a 14 day trial and received an email stating that my trial ends today. I also got billed today even though it states that I will only be billed if I do not cancel the payment for the free trial today. I got billed 8 hours before the end of the day that I was supposed to be able to cancel by. Very DECEPTIVE. The phone number on the receipt has no ring tone. This company is a fraud. Be very careful. I used this only to look at real estate photos of a home that needs serious repair so I could decide if I wanted to buy it.
