Our Experience
The Denon customer service line is automated. You cannot press 0 to skip the list of options. Press 1 for installation/product support, 2 for repair centers in the US. We pressed 1 and our call was moved to the home support line dedicated to home audio products. The call was on hold about four minutes before a Denon customer service agent answered the call. We asked about refurbished products. The agent told is the products were refurbished by the factory and prices were much lower than new products in the same line. We were told that some refurbished products are backed with one-year warranties and others are not so we’d have to read the description of the product before buying.
Customer service is horrible. I waited on hold for at least five minutes. Finally someone answered. I was asked for my name and phone number. I provided that. Then I explained the reason for my call, which is there’s a lot of static in my recordings. He didn’t say anything. And I said, should I adjust something. He still didn’t say anything. And I said, are you still there. He grunted something inaudible and then he hung up.
