Berkshire Hathaway is the corporation owned by Warren Buffett, one of the richest men on earth. Our customer service call surrounded the subsidiaries of Berkshire Hathaway. We called the customer service number and the operator connected us to the appropriate department. We wanted to know what to do if we voiced a complaint to a particular business and there was not resolve, should we contact the corporate office of the business or contact Berkshire Hathaway.
The agent told us the first step is to exhaust all options by contacting the corporate offices of the business. The last step should be to contact Berkshire Hathaway. The agent explained the resolution process would have to go back down to the business anyway. This was an interesting customer service call to say the least. We would love for you to share your story. Comment in the box below.

I worked for a Berkshire/Hathaway Buffett corporation for 8 years. In 2012 30 of us were layed off in Sept and permanetly let go on December…9 days before we were supposed to get out Christmas bonus. Because we were no classified as employed there we lost quite a bit of bonus. Money in Warrens pocket I guess. I emailed and sent letters to him but never received an answer.

Recently we were listed with your company and dropped by the manager at Greensburg office in Pa. We had an agent and could not get a hold of her. Her mail box full, so we contacted the manager at that office. First time we called the manager she could not be reached nor did she return our call. Another attempted was made, finally she called back. Rude was her attitude. Explained why we called her just wanted to have a meeting with our agent to discuss what we can do to reword our listing. She said the agent claimed we would not listen to her suggestions. How can that be if you can’t get ahold of her. If you have agents and managers with that kind of attitude I guess it’s wise that she dropped us . I would of left anyway. Our listing was a little bit difficult, but the agent said she could handle it.( Evidently not !)OH by the way we were listed year and half. Thank you
Gentlemen….I owned 100,000 shares of a stock called Genuity. Mr. Buffet bought the company and put it into bankruptcy, making my stock worthless. Recently on Facebook, someone represented themselves as Mr Buffet, and send that they would make up for my loss, and send me some money, if I sent the $3000.00 membership fee. After finding out this was a scam, I reported it to the FBI, and internet fraud. However, that still has not helped in resolving my loss. Is there anything Mr. Buffet can or will do to help me with the loss he caused when he put the company into bankruptcy? I have tried for years to get this message to someone at Berkshire Hathaway…..thank you
