Official Website

Customers visiting the Prudential Financial website have the ability to learn about the various products, including, insurance, investments and retirement planning. You can create an account, but this is not necessary in order to read through the website. We stumbled upon the Customer Support Center which features a FAQs section relating to all of the products and services.

Social Media

Although Prudential Financial does not engage in all social media platforms, you will have the ability to communicate with the customer service team on the Twitter page. You can receive updates of communicate with agents from the customer support center.

Customer Service Email

When we attempted to reach Prudential Financial by email, we noticed the company only had one email address available. This is interesting, considering there are multiple departments. Instead of sending a message relating to the particular department, we sent a message asking if there were email addresses for each department. We are still awaiting a response.

Our Experience

Considering Prudential Financial has multiple department with a variety of contact phone numbers, we decided to test all to see if we could reach the customer care team in generally the same fashion. What we noticed was each of the customer care numbers featured an automated system which provided an option to connect to the customer service department. Within each of the numbers, press 0 and the call connects to the customer care division. When we reached each of the customer care departments, we asked similar questions relating to the individual product. No matter the customer service agent, each answered the questions with a level of professionalism commonly not seen in the industry. Have you contacted any of the customer care departments from Prudential Financial? We want to hear your customer service experience. Share your story below.

  1. 3/13/13 called asked a question and both my polices were put on restriction .no real answers called 4 times ihave tocall my lawyer and go public no one will help me why?

  2. In June of this year Prudential Financial contracted some of its services to National Financial. When Prudential did this a few years ago with a different company it was a seamless transition, meaning Command Account online account statements were immediately available.

Since June 17th National Financial has been unable to post Command Account online account statements. All that is available at this time is an account summary that only shows a balance. Not available are deposits and/or withdrawals or any sort of transaction on one’s Command Account.

Three weeks of not being able to track my monies entrusted to Prudential Financial is becoming very dissatisfying to say the least. CSR at Prudential can only say the account statements should be available this week or next week.

Someone, somewhere is responsible for this major failure and should be held accountable, possibly even be terminated for failure to perform. At this time I am calling for termination of the responsible parties for this failure.

I am now in the process of having my direct deposit rerouted to a different financial institution. Once completed I will no longer do business with Prudential Financial and its contractors.

We, as Prudential Financial clients, have been short changed with this new company, National Financial, not being able to manage client online account statements.

I am hopeful someone will read this comment and take some kind of action to force Prudential and National to get this problem resolved.

  3. I posted a review last week that was awaiting moderation, looks like Contact Customer Service censors truthful, honest and verifable comments.
