Phone Contact Numbers

Contacting Intuit means contacting the corporate headquarters not the individual products. If you have trouble with one of the products or websites created or maintained by the Intuit company, you should contact that entity before attempting to contact Intuit. If you call the main phone number for Intuit Orders, you will reach the customer service line for all products.

Official Website

You can visit the Intuit corporate website at http://www.intuit.com or http://www.intuit.ca for the Canadian website. Contact information is located on the About Page. The Contact Page is helpful because it lists links for all products and services offered by the company. The links take the visitor to the support page, not the main page so support is just one click away for Intuit products.

Customer Service Email

You’ll find lots of email addresses on the media contact side of the Intuit website, but those contact emails will not help you with a customer service issue. We believe the best bet for contacting customer service, outside of calling and email (when available) is social media. You can contact Intuit customer service on Twitter by tweeting to @intuitinc. Even if the employee on the other end does not know the answer to your issue they will get the ball rolling in the right direction.

Our Experience

We called the number for Intuit Orders and the automated system gave us options to connect with customer service for each of the Intuit branded products, including TurboTax and Quicken. Once you choose your product the call is transferred to the appropriately-trained representative. Press 3 for products and 1 for TurboTax, 2 for QuickBooks or 3 for Quicken. If you don’t make a choice at this point or if you hit 0 your call will be disconnected.

Our agent was friendly enough and offered lots of information on TurboTax software and pricing. While the automated system is a bit overpowering, the agent made up for the 2:30 we spent sorting through options.

  3. I purchased Quicken 2014 after talking to the “sales associate” at walmart, brought it home and found that it wasn’t useable for my purposes. I am a firearms instructor with a new retail outlet and was told I should have a double entry system. I am using the dome manual accounting system. I would like to return per your guarantee “60 days” could you please tell me the address to send it to and the proceedure.

    • This Neil Obus guy got outed by Senior Chief Navy Seal for posing as a Navy Seal. Check out this poser on the Internet.
      What a waste of human.

  4. I have a billing issue and have spent 27+ hours on the phone talking to dummies all over the world about this.

I get promises of looking into it and calling back but nothing ever happens.

Then they disconnected the phone numbers for the offices in Fredericksburg, Virginia and Reno, Nevada.

The customer service cannot be given a low enough score because 0 stars is100 too high.

Worst company to do business with, very disreputable !

    • I agree whole-heartedly with a 0 out of 100 stars in the customer support area. Impossible to place a simple call for product issues and if you finally work your way through enough channels, you get to try to listen to and interpret someone on the other end. This is not customer service nor support–not for a supposedly American company.

  5. I have tried to get help at least 20 times for your 2014. I does not work. Your customer service people have no idea about your program. I challenged them to do what they tried to have me do to fix the problems. They didn’t know how. They could not use your program. Your help files never answer the question. yOU ARE SO PROUD OF PUTTING MICROSOFT MONEY OUT OF BUSINESS. Their program always worked 0 yours never does. Their support people always got it right ( unlike everything alse about Microsoft) – yours never does. You/ your programs flunk!

  6. Trying to get customer service can’t get past any of the options and none fit my needs. I have 2 credit card charges for something we know nothing about. If INTUIT would help it would be nice. Calling 1-800-4INTUIT does nothing.

    • Alvin, look I am not trying to get quick books on line for free. I paid for two different QuickBooks program that will not work on my desk top computer because I cannot have it on three computers. I was told by your customer service people to return the two versions that I paid $380 for and that you would refund my money so I could then turn around and buy the online version! What you are missing, is that the reason I sent you both the copies that I bought with receipt and paid for from best buy, is because your customer service department told me to return them to you. I was told that when I returned them with the receipt from the purchase that I made at the retail store, “which they knew that both copies were purchased at best buy”, that I would be refunded my money so I could buy the QuickBooks online version. I would then have a program that works. So please understand I am not trying to get something for free, I paid $380 for it! I Just want a program that works; meaning I spent $380 for two versions that do not work, Please realize the only reason I returned the two copies that I bought at a retail location to intuit was because I was instructed to do so by your customer service team! I contacted you originally, because when I downloaded the third version that I bought for my desktop it didn’t work. I was then instructed by your service department that the reason it did not work is, because I could not buy three different programs and put them on three different computers. They told me I needed to buy the on line version or it would not work. So, they told me to sendback the two latest version that I bought in May and June and that they would refund my money and then call me to buy the online version. And actually what they wanted to do, was for me to buy the online version over the phone before I received my refund for the other two versions that I bought. But, I did not feel comfortable buying a fourth copy, yes fourth copy until I received my refund for the other two that I bought. The reason I did not buy the fourth one over the phone was for this exact reason! I was afraid I would be in this situation because I had bought them at a retail location and not through intuit. I was worried that I would not get my money back on the two that I bought and was concerned that if I bought the online version before receiving a refund that I would get screwed again. So please understand I am not trying to get the online program for free. I paid $380 for two programs that will not work for what I need it to do. I need to have access on three different computers and multiple users meaning me and my wife need to be able to use it and update it remotely because I travel for work. So please help me out and switch out the two that I bought and returned to you for the on line version like your service department told me to do. I am not looking for a refund I just want a program that works online! Call me please.

      Thanks,
      Joe Dunmyer

  7. I will never use another one of your products and will advise everyone I know to do the same. Your cowardice and the stand you have taken to aid those that would seek to deprive law abiding Americans of their 2nd Amendment rights is disgusting. By canceling the account of Calico Arms under pressure from the Obama administration’s Operation Choke Point you have stood up to be counted with all that threatens liberty inside our great nation.

  8. They sold off the website part of this company to Homestead and they NEVER answer the phones, more then a few have posted this online. Now what do I do with my business? Thanks Intuit I will NEVER BUY ANYTHING from you again.

  9. Melonie was my customer service agent on the phone and was the most delightful one I have ever had in any customer service problem in my 77 years on earth. Give this lady a raise and have her teach all your other people how to be patient, kind, understanding and professional, all while being friendly.
Thank you. Now I know why I have been an Inuit Turbo Tax and Mint user for so many years. Not sure if maybe I should buy quicken if it ever is really on sale as hubby is 84, so we are watching our $$$. Thank you

  10. I have been on hold for over an hour trying to get them to stop charging my credit card for a service I cancelled 3 months ago. So far nothing but lousy music…

    Email me Intuit customer service…

  11. I changed my email address and notified those accounts that were affected with little complication within a few hours and very secure procedure. No problem until I tried to change my email address with Intuit. I called Intuit on 12/20 and was informed they would send me an email with a form attachment for me to fill out. I was told once I returned the filled out form it would be processed within 3 4 business days. I received two forms but only notice one attachment with a form with the title of Address/Phone/Fax/E mail change. I filled it out and wanted to send it back as an attachment since few use FAX these days. But intuit staff informed me they would not accept it via attachment and I can either send snail mail or fax. Since it is my business email address and time is important I drove to a public place to fax it. Not until Jan 15 (three weeks after sending form) did I hear from intuit who emailed me informing me the email address change was processed successfully and please go ahead and sign onto my account. But I could not. I called them and they said it was not activated because I failed to fill out the other form – Email address change authorization. No one contacted me to let me know they needed more documentation and weeks have passed. So I fill it out and send it back. Again this is not enough, They now want me to send my picture drivers license. I send that. then they say ID number on my QB account and I send it and they say it is incorrect number. Obviously they read the number incorrectly and if they contacted me this could have been corrected. instead of contacting me to verify ID number now they say I need send copy of Business license, and a personal bill. This additional information was provide to Intuit on 1/20 (one month has passed) this involved many calls between 10 am to 8 pm until that documents department closed. Now I have to wait till tomorrow morning and start all over again giving probably this time by blood. It has been a month since I have been able to access my business account and it is year end and time to close the books and I can not access my transactions. I continue to provide valid documentation: SS#, Date of birth, Name, mothers name, father mane, college, drivers license, Merchant account number, ID number of QB and now right before they close this evening they want business license and a copy of personal bill. Really. I love the idea of good security but this is beyond security and has now become abusive of me. I have been denied access to my business account for a month. I believe this is illegal. This is no longer an issue of security and it is about depriving me of my legal rights to my account and it is about Intuit interfering with my business and preventing me from making a living.

  12. Turbo Tax Deluxe sole at local Cosco’s Store was $29.99 (With State: $39.99). I pick the one with out State to save $10.00; Later I do need State to go along with Fed E-File and I download it for $39.99. Now I feel like a dummy. I want to save $10.00 and end up cost me more. If I pick the Turbo Tax with State even I use State or not; it would not feel Sh… this way. Can you explain how to save money when I buy your CD at local store?

  13. I purchased the Deluxe version like I have for many years because it showed that it covered 1099 Misc. While imputing my information when it came to the the 1099 Misc, I was informed I needed the Premier to cover 1099 Misc when it clearly states on the back of the Deluxe I purchased that the 1099 Misc was covered. Not wanting to start my taxes over, I went ahead and purchased the Premier for an additional $30.

This will be the last year that I will use TurboTax to do my taxes. And I feel that I should receive my $30 plus tax back.

  14. To Whom It may Concern,
I have quickbooks pro 2013 and would like to update to Quickbooks Pro 2015. I would like to know how to order the new 2015 version so I can place it on all my computers without having to have several licenses. I am independent. I have an office desktop, a home office desktop, and a laptop. All of these are only used by me and therefore I do not feel I should have to get several licenses to run the program. Can someone get back to me on this and the cost of the latest version (including a disc) for me? An immediate reply would be very much appreciated. I am in Manitoba, Canada so my version has to be for Canada.

  15. Why does Intuit refuse to allow contact by email? Because they don’t care about their customers? If intuit really had customers best interest in mind they would allow customers to contact them by either email or telephone, whichever is most convenient for the customer.

  16. customer service is not good ive been on the phone for hours at a time and still haven’t talked to anyone that can help me this is a very big problem

  17. I can’t believe how difficult it is to email you. And when i DID reach you by email to ask you how to change my email address you sent me an email on how to change my password. Worthless and completely unhelpful. I need to BUY your 2016 upgrade. By all means, please make it as difficult as possible. I don’t want your download sent to an email address I no longer have. But of course you won’t tell me how to update my email address. Round and round we go

  18. I filed my 2014 income taxes with you and paid you and I thought they were filed . The IRS sent me a letter on December 15,2015 and told me that my 2014 taxes were not filed. I sent a message to you (INTUIT) and someone by the name of Jordan sent me an answer and has done everything except answer my question. All I want Is my Income tax filed, which is what I paid for. I tried to log on again, but the system will not allow me back on
    Thank you

  19. My father passed away in March 2015. My Mother does not want this product and would not use it anyway. How do I get you to stop sending these disks and charging her for them??
    Thank you!

  20. I have a problem with TTAX because the program incorrectly posts non taxable income as taxable income. I contacted Intuit CS and after thirty minutes explaining the problem was put on hold but gave up after waiting 1.5 hours !!! My only alternative is to return the TTX software and purchase H&R Block program. Hopefully if there is a problem they will help….

  21. Intuit made a mistake on their end which caused my business $184 in overdraft fees. Customer service admitted and an email from intuit admitted the mistake but they refused to pay the overdraft fee. Unbelievable! Do I take this to small claims court? No one from intuit will help. I guess Im just out $184. Intuit sure does love small business.

  22. I have not received my order for Quicken 2016 CD, Order #QSTW17211621516. I have been trying for some time to contact someone about this order. I have tried every phone number, web site, and every other means to check on where this order is but without any success of even talking or hearing from anyone. I have used the tracking link and see where the order was received by DHL and accepted by USPS. I have contacted DHL but again no response.

    Can you help?

    Thanks
    Erwin Gard

  23. Intuit requires me to sign in, every so often, when I use the feature in Quicken that backs up my records from my financial institutions. This means that Intuit is getting between me and my financial institutions; does that mean Intuit is gathering information on my accounts with banks and, if so, what are they doing with it?

  24. I have had a terrible time with your customer service in Inda my Quick Books program freezes on the redustration page and says there is another user with my email address they say I have a bad copy and need to buy a think manager program from them. because it is not installed on my copy of quickbooks. which is QuickBooks pro 2015. or I have to buy a new program. this is a new box never opened and should work from the box . do you stand behind your products or not. and why is it that they can be so rude as to hang up on you and not help with this product .I am very disappointed and would like to get my program fixed without tcosting 200.00 more dollers

  25. 1. Your Quicken & QuickBooks software changes the past two years SUCK !
    2. Changing my password all the time SUCKS!
    3. Also sometimes your “auto-fill” feature after I’ve already entered the info before and it should remember it and auto-fill it and IT DOESN’T also SUCKS !
    3/23/17

  26. Quicken now asks for my intuit password and send me a verification code to my phone. This is entirely unnecessary for me to update my quicken accounts via my banks. It is a waste of my time and your resources.

  27. I have been a customer of Intuit (Turbo Tax software) for many years, and have always commented positively. Today I hear that “…Intuit stopped processing credit card payments because sales were gun-related,..” I would like to hear your response to this. I don’t do business with companies who feel they must make political statements, regardless of how their customers may be affected by it. Unfortunately, the majority of times this involves companies bashing conservatives in one way or another. I have a choice where to spend my dollars on tax software.

  28. Due to your hatred of our basic rights, as guaranteed by the Bill of Rights, unique in world history, I will no longer be doing any business with your companies in any form.
