We took the Georgia Power customer service phone number for a test drive to see if we could find a speedy way through the automated system. Unfortunately the system is setup as a voice-activated system, which makes it harder to bypass the system. If you press 0 every time the automated list of options starts you will be transferred to an agent after you press 0 four times. After being placed on hold we waited for more than four minutes before an agent picked up the call.
