There was little information relating to customer service. We did notice a few conversations between the customer service department and customers, but the average response time was more than three (3) business days.

Customer Service Email

Customers wishing to voice concerns relating to products or services can email the customer service department. We sent an email address asking for information relating to the forms needed to start an account online. Although the automated response stated a representative would respond within 48 hours, we have not received a response.

Our Experience

Due to the length of the call, our experience contacting First Hawaiian Bank was less than stellar. We called the hotline and listened to the options. We were able to bypass the options by selecting zero (0). This is when the wait began. We waiting on hold for more than 15 minutes before a customer care agent answered the call. After asking several questions relating to service, we were placed on hold again. By the end of the call, all of our concerns were addressed, but the call lasted more than 30 minutes.
