Our Experience

The Disneyland customer service lines are automated, but you cannot press 0 to bypass the introduction message or it will just repeat from the beginning. After the beginning message was complete we tried pressing 0 again, but that just restarted the entire message from the very beginning. After listening to all the available options we could not find an easy way through the system so you’ll have to listen and choose the correct options for your call. If you are calling with a customer service complaint you must choose the Guest Info line and press 0 after the first list of options is finished. You will be moved to customer service at that time.

  1. IM PLANING A TRIP TO CALIFORNIA IN JANUARY 24TH BECAUSE WE HAVE HAD SO MUCH TRAGGIC THING HAPPENING IN OUR FAMILY WE NEED A LITTLE FUN IN OURE LIFE SO THATS MY CHRISTMAS TO MY KIDS AND GRANDKIDS BUT MY BROTHERNLAW WORKS FOR VONS AND WAS GOING TO GET US TICKETS FOR $45.00 EACH PER BUT WAS UNABLE TO WE HAVE EVERYBODY OFF WORK THAT TIME AND THE LAST TIME WE WENT TO DISNEYLAND IT WAS A DISASTER BASILY THE BEST RIDES WERE CLOSED AND IM GOING THERE WITH 10 ADULTS AND 6 KIDS 2 UNDER 1 SO PLEASE HELP US

  2. I have been coming to WDW since 1971, 2 weeks after they opened. I have always been impressed with their attention to detail. As an Engineer with 31 patents, I am impressed with Imagineering.

My latest visit has been disturbing. I gathered all of my children and their families (all in the Military)to return (after bringing my family 30 times from 1971) to see this marvel of engineering and more important, consistant quality and maintenance.

Problem 1, the food in the German pavillion is bad. I have been eating there for years and the service is good, but the food flavor is bland, the beef was burned and the sausage was tastless or nearly so. The food in the Wilderness lodge remains very good, so it’s not me.

Problem 2, this is the first time I have seen a monorail “towed” away due to breakdown. When I was with Ingersoll-Rand, we attended a metal working conference and we toured your workshop. The pride in workmanship was inspiring despite the “non-family” changes that Eisner had made to the park (“adults only” pleasure island, condom displays next to the stuffed toys in the trading posts and hard liquor behind the cash registers, which,I’m sure Walt would be pleased to see, after he made Annette Funicello wear rubber T shirts to hide her “development” in the MMClub show). Equipment breakdowns were not tolerated. Proactive maintenance, rather than Reactive, was always the case.

-The People Mover (one of the parks firat rides) has always been a symbol of reliability. It broke down 3 times while I was on it, and I was only allowed to exit after asking to go to the bathroom over the railing in front of the Smoothie stand. It broke 5 more times as I sat under the over pass.

-Soaring broke down and it is relatively new.

    -Small world backed up.
    -I mentioned the monorail

So, sadly, I guess I am seeing the “circle of life” as the park deteriorates little by little, as newer (less inspired by the Disney dream and attention to detail) management replaces the pioneers in Engineering and Customer Service.

I can offer this view because my entire family has grown up with Disney as part of our lives. We have literally 42 years of experiences, and Engineering (remember me?)observations to look back on.

I have been designing, redesigning and improving manufacturing factory processes during my 40 year career, and what I see at Disney is a “slip” in the definition of “Excellence”.

Now the decision to delete this email from your records, and not push it up to the real decision makers (not the accountants),is up to you. To borrow a phrase from one of your movies, “You can Run from it, OR Learn from it!”

This park belongs to America. We have paid for it many times over, an we deserve to see our investment thrive for our grandchildren. Don’t let greed, corporate politics and a lack of vision, degrade WDW as the rest of the country is degrading. Walt had his dream. Don’t let it waste away to mediocrity.

    Thanks for your attention,

  3. To whom it may concern:
We had been saving up for 4 years to take our 12 year old daughter to Disneyland on April 11,12,13th of this year. While your staff is very friendly and helpful, many of the rides were not working or broke down during our visit. On the first day, California Screamin and Radiator springs were closed down for half of the day. On the second day, Indiana Jones was closed down all morning and broke down while my husband and daughter were on it. On the third day, Space Mountain was closed all day and California Screamin was closed all morning. I do understand that safety is of the utmost importance and maintaining the equipment is crucial but is there someway to compensate guests for their investment, time, energy, frustration, etc? Thank you for your time, Sincerely, Suzette Lamb and family

  4. I received a notice to renew my annual pass. It expires May 18th. My daughter and I had had our annual passes for four years, I believe. Before I do so I need to understand a policy that appears to me to be the antithesis of what I have always thought Disneyland to represent – sensitive, intelligent, gracious service. March 12th I spent $200 for a ticket for my son who does not have annual pass and a significant amount of money for food for four of us at the two parks. The second day we were there, March 13th, we went through parking at about 9:00 a.m. and used my daughter’s annual pass since she paid for parking as part of her annual pass. Later I needed to return to the hotel and she kept her annual pass for fast passes and to go between the two parks.
When riding the tram we’re informed that we can enter and leave the parking structure again with the same ticket we had already gotten that day. After several hours I returned to the parking structure and showed the worker the parking ticket for March 13th and the man there told me I could not enter without my daughter being present. I told him he must be mistaken for this was stupid. we’re told on the tram we can enter and leave the structure as needed. He treated me as if I were trying to cheat. I thought certainly this is not the happiest place on earth. What kind of policy is this that annual pass holders who add parking to their pass are punished? Actually my daughter has only used her parking pass four days thus far. I don’t know if we will use it again before it expires. She has paid more than $15 a day to park. She has convinced out of state friends to come to Disneyland and buy annual passes. She and I are troubled that such a policy is really valid and she is not sure she wants to renew her annual pass. If she doesn’t want to renew then I won’t either.
Could you please respond to this before May 18th and explain why such a policy is fair or get rid of this policy. Thanks F. Gayle Madsen

  5. My wife and sister-in-law met our son in Orange County for one week of fun in the sun. We traveled from Seattle, Minnesota and Phoenix. Last Christmas, we decided in lieu of buying Christmas gifts for each other, we would all take a trip together and create new memories together as a family traveling. One of the highlights was supposed to be our trip to California Adventure Park, which was one of the main reasons we chose to all meet in Orange County. Here is a list of our experiences at your park.

    1. After taking an extra 1/2 hour to enter the parking structure we showed our handicap badge for one of our elderly passengers. We were given a yellow sticker and directed where to park. But we were not directed to the handicap parking, which we later saw as we were walking to the tram. We had to walk over 1 block just to get to the escalators which is no big deal unless you are handicapped.
    2. We purchased 4 tickets for CAP. After the clerk issued the tickets she inquired if there were any seniors in the group. Yes, we said, there are three, but the sign did not make mention of any senior discount. She offered us 3 $2 discounts and re-issued three new tickets. When we presented them at the entry, there were 3 DLP tickets and only 1 CAP ticket. The clerk had issued the wrong tickets. We waited at the gate for over 20 minutes for a manager to come to the gate and approve our entry.
    3. We needed a motorized wheelchair for one of our group and had to walk across the plaza to get it. This is not good for someone handicapped. That took another 20 minutes.
    4. We wanted to ride Radiator Springs, so we immediately proceeded to the FasPas location only to find that all FasPasses for the day had been issued. It was 11a.m. So we had a choice to wait in a long line with over a 60 minute wait or not try the new ride. We decided to pass on the new ride rather than wait that long for our first ride in CAP.
    5. We proceeded to the Cal. Screamin coaster where the sign said the wait was only 25 minutes. After waiting 20 minutes, they announced the wait would be longer than shown on the sign. That wait turned out to be 50 minutes.
    6. After lunch we hustled to the Funwheel. After a 30 minute wait we were next in line to board. The announcer told us to turn around and exit with no explanation or offer to board early when the ride re-opened.
    7. We left the park around 3:30. Although we knew our parking location to be Goofy E-8, the tram driver did not let us know if the stop included our location so we guessed. We went on 3 rides and saw 1 show in that time.

We went to Disney’s Epcot in Florida two years ago, and had a much better time. That park was very efficiently run with very friendly cast members.

All in all our day at “The “Happiest Place on Earth” turned out to be not very happy at all. It goes without saying we will not return with or without our grandchildren.

  6. Went to Disneyland June 14 through 16th. Was looking forward to Cars land .well it kept breaking down never got to go on.This was the 14th and we just gave up trying. We did a fast pass and I watched the baby and after I thing over 1 hour. My daughter and her boy friend finally came to me and said they never got on and so I never even had the chance.Really thought it looked like fun and I still see the commericals and it reminds me of us 3 not enjoying the car race ride.

  7. Hello, I went to Disneyland for Mickey’s Halloween Party on Friday October 4th, 2013. I took my 4 and 2 year old daughters along with my mom. We were so excited to see the fireworks and as we were watching the parade, I went up to one of the Disneyland workers and asked where were the fireworks going to be held, and I find out there were not going to be fireworks beause it was too windy. My daughter and I were absolutely sad about this, I always look forwad the best part of Disneyland which are the fireworks…bummer I had two little one and did not have time to go to customer service to let them know how I felt. But what really broke my heart is that my little 4 year old kept asking about the fireworks beause she saw it in the flyer and I had to tell her we were going home that there were no fireworks. I wished i had an extra entry to the park to take her back to see the fireworks….Thank you for your time in reading this and I hope you can do something about it…. I appreciated in advance. We love the Disney characters, she was minnie for her 3rd Birthday, she was Jessie the cowgirl for her 2 nd Birthday and she was Belle for ther 4th Birthday. We love Disneyland, but with this hard times its hard to go again I can’t afford it unless we get a free pass!!!!!!!!!

  8. To whom it may concern. I am a Anaheim resident and a long time customer of Disneyland and Downtown Disney. We go to the movie theatre there atleast three times a month. We went there to take our Grandson to ESPN Zone. His two older brothers were going to Halloween Haunt and he’s to young so we thought ESPN Zone would be perfect however when we got there they had a private party so we couldn’t get in. We ended up going to the movies and seeing Gravity. The only thing appropriate for a 7year old at 9:00pm. It cost us almost $100 just for the movie and popcorn which is fine but then we lost our parking ticket and the parking attendant charged us $30.00! We had our movie tickets. I understand it doesn’t say what time we got there but seriously!!! We live in Anaheim and are life long Customers of the resort.I called guest experience to plead my case. I didn’t even get an apology. I can see why so many people are starting to be ANTI-DISNEYLAND! If anybody from the resort bothers to read this and care I would like my $30.00 refunded. thank you

  9. Car-racers ride attraction
Me and my family came from out of town to enjoy spring break. Unfortunately we were in line for 3.5 hours to experience this ride. It was so frustrating that almost half of our day was wasted waiting for this ride because all the fast pass has been consumed within 1 1/2 hour when the theme park opens. Asked attendants inside the park how come and all they said ” I’m sorry, you should have been here earlier instead of being considerate to us park goers.
We paid more than $500. 00 for 4 of us and wasn’t able to enjoy the whole park. I guess they should reconsider to change the slogan of “Disneyland the happiest place on earth”.
Kindly , look at this matter to ensure satisfaction to your patronage.

  10. me, my aunt and 2 twin 14 year old daughters just got back from disneyland yesterday, april 20th, easter.since it is so pricey, like many, we can only afford to go to disneyland once every 5 years, if were lucky.this is our experience in our 3 days at disneyland.every time my girls would get in line for a character signature, the line would close before they even got there.some lines would have a worker at the end saying it was closed but some didnt so my girls would be waiting for 20 minutes, only to be told-sorry-mickeys going on break.i suggest you have at least 3 or 4 characters of each throughout the park so this does’nt happen.pirates of the caribbean was shut down just as we were getting on the boat, it never did open up again.cars broke down twice.matterhorn broke down after standing in line 30 minutes.grizzly rapids broke down while my girls were on it.so it was a very disappointing trip for the money we spent.with the money the park makes, i would think they would have the proper people to fix these rides in a timely manner.i dont think we will be back in 5 more years.

  11. Took our family last weekend. OMG talk about expensive. I told my 15 yr old today, that I probably will never go again. Small World closed, Pirates of the Carribean closed, Grizzly Raft ride closed. HOT Weather, crowded, 3 ice creams $15.00, Goofy’s Kitchen (No more side shows where the kids get up and dance with the Characters) basically a buffet with a picture or two with Characters was $198.00 for our 4 kids and two adults. The picture package was 39.00 +. Lunch for a few ribs, chicken and corn bread was $129.00. The Hotel somehow ended up costing $100.00 more than what I had registered for. $10.00 mandatory valet parking, this fee and that fee. Disney parking was $16.00 per day. Whole trip, food, gas, hotel……unbelievably expensive…Felt like we were totally raped of our funds.

  12. Not the happiest place on earth by no means. Horrible customer service with the people in the ticket booth. I can’t even write what a mess it was last night because it upsets me. Just wanted to share its not the happiest place on earth. Knotts may be smaller, but at least it’s nit full of s____.

  13. Very disgusted with the Gay weekend at Disneyland111 my kids asking all sorts of questions!! When are you going to have a heterosexual weekend?? Will never go there again!! it is a children place and families!! Men making out and women, I dont want my children exposed to that at Disneyland, it will come on a day to day basis as they get older. very disgusted and disapointed!!! Thanks for making my kids weekend a terrible one!!!

  14. Yesterday, December 30, I was buying a jacket for my son near “Pirates of the Caribbean.” The sales person was Brigitte from Cypress, CA. In the middle of the transaction I asked Brigitte to take change, but Brigitte said that she already finished a transaction and I had to accept it as it is. I did not want to argue and said “fine” which Brigitte did not like and called me rude, disrespectful, and fastie. When I said that I don’t appreciate her behavior, another sales person name Viridiana from Anaheim, came and started screaming along with Brigitte at me. Before, I never had problems with adding change in the middle of transaction, and nobody called me rude.
I have been an annual pass holder for a long time, and I never had a problem with customer service at Disney. I thought that Disney Park is all about customer service, but Brigitte and Viridiana proved it different.

  15. Dear Disneyland, This is not a complaint. This is in response to a previous issue that you so kindly resolved on our behalf. In reference #M003094188 / Reservation #7467084 / you have seven complimentary 2-day tickets waiting for us in will-call that need to be used by July 1st, 2015. We would like to transfer the use of these tickets to our family members who will be visiting from Connecticut in April of 2015. This will be my cousin’s first vacation since the tragic shooting death of his brother and his family of six this year. They were tragically murdered by an estranged family member in Spring, TX in July of last year. It’s been a rough year for our family. We know this would brighten their spirits a bit. Please let us know if you can help us with this and the transfer of these tickets. We would appreciate any help you can give us. Thank you, Juli Shogan and family

  16. We had takin our daughter & her friends to DISNEY once a year every year, until I became disabled. For the last few years it’s been difficult trying to afford a trip to your parks on a fixed income. Luckily my daughter still wants to hang out with her parents at 18 yrs old. We used another credit card & made the extra effort just to spend the time with her before she left us once again to study. What a let down to her & us when we arrived to do our regular routine starting with Indiana jones. After that one ride we continue on our day going ride to ride just to have DISNEY employees telling us they are not operating at this time. Here’s the ones I can remember on the wk end of January 16-17 so you can check your records, HAUNTED MANSION, SPLASH MTN., BEAR COUNTRY, MATTAHORN, SMALL WORLD, SPACE MTN. ( more than 4hrs), & SOARING CALIFORNIA. Two day park hopper tix for 3 of us, cost 40% of my disability check. Plus the cost of renting extra battery for my wheelchair was a real big dent in our monthly expense for a tremendous let down of your theme park rides all not working on the sam wk end. If there is somebody that could PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS EMAIL I would appreciate it. Some kind of good faith action on your part would go a long way with a life long customer, fan & big kid at heart. Thank you for your time.

  17. I would like to thank the Disneyland cast for the wonderful treatment that my family received on Feb 15th 2015. My mom had fallen on the trolley track on main street in front of the City Hall. The cast was fast to react to the incident and form a circle around my mom to help her feel comfortable. The first aide cast was first to be there to help they not only helped my mom but they had also help my dad and my children. The cast even took my daughter and son out of the area to keep them busy what a great and nice idea so I was able to be there and take care of my mom. The peremedic’s that came to the scene were very caring and asked her if she was in pain and when my mom said yes they made her comfortable till they were able to move her. Once she was stable they moved her and took her to the hospital. Once I knew she was safe I had to make a decision to either stay there at the park being that it was my sons 18th birthday or to go to the hospital the cast member that was helping me took me to the City Hall to see what they were able to do. I did decide to stay and keep the kids minds off of grandma the manager told me that he could refund their tickets that was very nice of him and that I would not be charged for them. He also gave me 4 fast passes that we were able to use on any of the rides. Even though the day started off grate until the fall it turned out to be a fun and wonderful birthday and trip for myself and the kids. I wanted to email the Disneyland cast to let them know that I am very great-full for everything that everyone did that day..

    Thank you,
    Khristine Good

  18. My daughter went with the choir & orchestra From Flowing Wells High School in Tucson, AZ to Disneyland March 28-31. She lost a bag with her wallet & lightsaber in it on the haunted mansion ride. The next day she went to guest services & everything was there- even the money in her wallet. I want to thank you and the cast members for their integrity and honesty. It is so refreshing to have this as an outcome. Thank you again.

    God bless you all,
    John Huss

  19. Dear Disneyland my name is Mickey Naren and I live in Calgary AB Canada. Do you know the email address to send my resume? I have a beautiful dream to work in your office.

  20. We went to Disneyland on 5/9/15 and had a great time! We saw Maynard at the Tiki Room and I was so happy because I have not seem him in years. I just wanted to let know at Disneyland to encourge your staff to be free and funny like Manynard. He is great and makes your visit special. I have not met a cast member like him there is only one Maynard it would be nice to see more that try and loves his job as much as he does.

  21. Just returned from 6 days at DL. We are truly disney nerds! This time I must say I was disappointed. The pond at Thunder Mountain has trash floating in it and it went uncleaned the entire week we were there. The anniversary give aways was a huge let down! I don’t know if anyone has won anything because there was no show of the winners. I give DL a big F grade for that. The fireworks are amazing and I can not say enough about them! Cast members still don’t have it together regarding the treatment of disabled (I walk with a brace and was told I could not go through the regular que for Indiana!). Considering not renewing our passports.

  22. I would like to make a statement….I was appalled that you found yourself needing to celebrate GAY MARRIAGE with lights and that you have no qualms about putting your finger in the eye of those who disagree! Ammazing…You have no consideration for the families of whom are believers of one woman/one man in order to define marriage. We will NOT EVER go to your Park……you have become political and not a FAMILY PARK anymore!!! Amazing, you feel good speaking for only one part of the American Public….Walt would be heartsick….this was not what he tried to do….it was to be a place where families could escape and have a wonderful magical time….NOT CELEBRATE unnatural unions under the guise of MARRIAGE….Like the President, thanks for trying to DEVIDE this country more! You have succeeded!!!

  23. I’m sad right now. We tried to purchase 5 tickets to the Disneyland Halloween Party on October 9th. What we found was that they were sold out already. We go every year, because we attend the Brennerman Lectures at the Disneyland Hotel, but this year we couldn’t get the tickets. What we found was that there were hundreds of tickets for sale on EBAY for exorbitant prices!!!! This doesn’t seem fair. We want to purchase tickets, but soooo many are on Ebay, no wonder the average family couldn’t find them. Can someone please help us?

  24. Hi my name is Jocelyn Clarke, We recently visited Disneyland in California, When we arrived the staff were wonderful and the park was sensational, we had booked for the Bayou restuarant for the night before leaving, service was great, but my daughter had the salmon for dinner and got food poisoning from it,we then lost 2 days from her being really ill. We had planned on bringing gifts back for the the family but was unable to purchase them as she could not be left alone being so ill.
I thought I would be able to purchase the gifts on line when I returned home, but found they would not post to Australia. I was hoping you would be able to help me on obtaining these gifts, I have been advised to write to you and request your help in this matter.
    Thanking you Jocelyn

  25. Let me start by saying Disneyland is a great place and my son loved it. Now the but. We were at Disney on Saturday 10-3-2015. We had fastpass tickets to Splash Mountain I believe around 7:30 and it was very crowded on the way there. On the way back the conditions can only be described as unsafe. The alternative path in the New Orleans section was closed for seating. There were so many people in the main walkway we stood for 15 minutes without moving and the crowd getting closer and closer together. My son starting crying. He was scared with so many people surrounding his stroller and bumping it. I carried him the remainder of the way. We were one panicked person away from a Mecca trampling. If there had been a medical emergency there would have been no way to extract the person. There were many children, elderly, and handicapped individuals caught in this mess. Disney has got to either not hold events that put people in harms way or do a better job erecting temporary partitions. Several high school or college age kids with flashlights is not sufficient.

  26. We were in Disneyland Sept 30 – Oct 5th and on the 4th we attended the parade and fireworks. We just wanted to thank CSO Jim for pointing us in the right direction for seating to view parade and for CSO Kevin (at the Matterhorn) for all of their guidance, help and special care they gave our family. My daughter referred to us as perpetual procrastinators when looking for seating. It was truly appreciated. The area we were seated was spectacular, with particular allowance to our grandchildren. Then moving to the area best suited for viewing the fireworks gave the whole experience something we never had before. We went to Disneyland on our honeymoon 39 yrs ago and have gone to Disney World over 8 times through out our kids lives. This by far was the best parade and firework experience we ever had.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

    Warm regards
    Robin and Stan Arlington
Rianne and Dan Woog, Anniston and Caden Woog

  27. Hi,
My husband and I have been annual pass members for a few years now and brought my parents to disneyland for the first time today. Unfortunately, the disneyland park was saturated with park goers that they were unable to ride many rides as they planned. It was unfortunate as they have been planning this vacation for a while. Can they have their tickets refunded or a portion of the price they paid refunded or discounted? They had 1 day/1 park passes because they could not afford to pay more for a park hopper or a multi day ticket.
    Thank you for your consideration,
    Suzy Brasiel. Suzy_pereira@yahoo.com

  28. Disneyland is to be the happiest place on earth….but the truth is this mega corporation has led it to be a place with indifferent employees whom are not trained to be excited or happy with the job they have but rather an attitude of your opinion or concerns don’t matter. In fact…the idea of suggesting there is a problem to an employee will allow you to experience a blank stare followed by an I don’t really care answer. Now…I agree there are many people with different problems that don’t always require a managers assistance. But in some cases…the customers concern really does matter. It’s hard to believe that Walt would want his empire to be just a machine rather than a place of dreams and wishes to come true. I must say that I’m disappointed beyond belief as to what this place has turned into. Though I’m not spending millions of dollars….I am spending a good chunk of my salary to enjoy the dream of Dinsey and I must assume so does half of the patrons coming here.

  29. I just wanted to compliment 2 cast members on their excellent service. One is Chester from the cleaning crew at Disney’s California Adventure. He gave my mom and I Honorary Citizen buttons and made rhymes and was quite entertaining. The other is Jamie (not sure if I am spelling her name right or not). She was our tour guide today for the Walking in Walt’s Disneyland footsteps. She was very informative and did a good job with giving the tour. I usually go to Dusney World in Florida, but came to Disneyland to help you celebrate 60 wonderful years and to celebrate my mothers birthday for this coming Wednesday. Everyone was very pleasant and the cast members who saw her all wished her a happy birthday. It was an enjoyable trip (we even got to go into the wheelhouse of the Mark Twain Riverboat and steered the boat while my mom got to blow the whistle a couple of times.). Going to Disney is always a pleasure. I think Walt Disney would be proud of what you have done and continue to do. I am always happy to visit the park and makes me feel like a kid again. Keep up the good work and I know Walt Disney is smiling down on all of the parks with his name on it.

    Sincerely,
    Chris Gibson

  30. I heard your tearing Toontown and hope you will save have Mickey’s and Minney’s house. Even if you put it in California Adventure. Everyone l know really Love see Mickey and Minney at home. PLEASE SAVE THERE HOME.

  31. Just returned from Disneyland, “The Happiest Place on Earth”, or should I say the “Most Crowded Place on Earth”. We have been visiting Disneyland for many years and have been season pass holders several times. Unfortunately every time we visit the park it seams they busier they have become. It does not matter what day of the week or time of the year we go, it is just becoming a crowded nightmare. It is not an enjoyable experience when the park is shoulder to shoulder with guest and LONG lines at each and every ride. Tickets are expensive with little return of riding many rides. If you want to buy food in the park good luck. With so many guest competing for food venues, lines are long or some venues are not available. Sorry to say that we have made our last visit to Disneyland. Thanks for the good memories but look forward to ridding myself of the crowded nightmares of the last few visits.

  32. I live in Alaska and had my families first ever vacation to Disneyland… yes we have gone camping but that is a monthly thing is summer. I had an issue with the ticket purchases I did online with tickets the day we left and when I got to the park, the customer service helped me figure it all out. They made sure my families first trip and our Christmas was not ruined. I want to thank them so much… They have no idea how much they have impacted our life. My daughter now wants to attend the college by Disneyland and work there. Thank you so much for saving my families Christmas.

  33. I traveled from NY with my three kids to come to your park on February 2nd. We had a wonderful time but were very upset by the fact that so many of your main attractions were closed. I spent almost 500$ admission & were unable to go to it’s a small world, the haunted mansion, or autotopia. I feel that I should be compensated somehow.

  34. Overall my day at Disneyland resort was amazing! Unfortunately, towards the end of the night I became very sick and became too weak to walk out of the resort. The manager at Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen was amazing in helping me through my tough time! The registered nurse that helped me, Lina, was very sweet and kind in my time of need. I would also like to thank Bill for helping me out of the park via wheelchair. I am very thankful for these kind people who still made my stay great even through my sickness. I felt safe and taken care of the entire time thanks to these great cast members. (:

  35. Please help us make our first trip to Disneyland very special for my family we have had a very rough 18 months as a family. My son thaw as 2 weeks old had unexpected open heart surgery that saves his life. Myself and husband had to leave our 3 girls for 3 and half months with out seeing them cause my son was very sick. We want to show these girls beside myself, husband, son and mother how special this trip will be. We will be in California on March 27-30. We would love for you to help us make this trip the best trip of these kids life. Please if you can help us make our trip memorable. Cara Dunn

  36. I’ve called Disneyland customer service number many times and have always had friendly, caring, helpful folks to answer questions. You could hear their smile and happy attitude through the phone. I just called to find out if rain automatically cancels the fireworks show. The lady just kept repeating she didn’t know, and there’s no one she can transfer me to. It’s not her department! It was her attitude more than her words – no “I’m sorry”, no “happy, friendly Disney attitude”.

  37. I came to bring our family for Spring break to meet family who live in the LA area, We stood in line to purchase for the $149 So-Cal special. We were told that the special was blacked out, but we could go to Guest Services. We went and someone named Jason came out to tell us the same thing and gave us some passes to get ahead in the ride lines. He then told us that we can go back to the line and they would be the only ones that could override the price of our tickets to $149,. As we stood in the line for the 3rd time of course the manager Samantha came and told us she didn’t know why Jason told us that. She stated that when tickets are blacked out they couldn’t be overridden. This was very terrible customer service. I had my two granddaughters with me and this took about an hour and they gave us the run around. This was the first time my grand daughters were coming to Disneyland and this was awful. it is really awful to have a special for So-Cal residents but block out during spring break, when families are taking vacations We tried the whole time to ride the Indiana Jones ride and was told to come back until the park closed and the ride never opened. To add insult to injury the 2nd day as we are entering the park security pulls my daughter aside and scares the heck out of her kids after we had just told them that if they got lost to tell security. Everyone should be searched not just pulling one person aside. We felt discriminated. We went to Magic Mountain and everyone was searched as they went through the gate. It’s really sad we were supposed to be at the Happiest Place on Earth and we were disappointed and unhappy. We don’t see ourselves coming back soon at all! I can choose other parks to spend my money. Luckily I got 2 day park tickets at my hotel at a reasonable price. Feeling very sad! We used to come to Disneyland every year when my kids were young. Thought I was going to start my tradition with my grand daughters. Guess not! Vegas here we come!

  38. I have a question. I have someone calliing from
Disneyland saying that I have a billed owed. Is that true?

  40. I am a Senior 70 years old and I would like to know what a disneyland ticket would cost me for 1 Day entrance fee

  41. Disappointed beyond belief! I was at Disneyland in the early 70’s. Wife and grandkids had never been so while there this past weekend, March 11, 2017, I took all to Disneyland along with my Nephew and his niece. He is a retired Army Sgt., recently retired and a regular visitor to Disneyland. My nephew went in first and presented his military ID with no problem and received a discount. My family went in next, I presented my military I.D. and the lady looked at me like I just landed from Mars. My ID card was issued in 1969. I chose to keep this card rather than get the new issue cards which are all alike. My card is valid, has all the necessary information on it and I use it at least once a week, never been told it was not acceptable. Your ticket agent refused to even talk to me about it, telling me she had never seen anything like it, refused to get me a supervisor and when ask, she told me to go with the guy in front of me, hes retired and knows his way around the park. She had the balls to tell mne that as far as she knew it is a forgery!
In all my years of retirement, (Disability Retirement) I have never been denied any sort of benefit entitled by the military retirement card. Never been told is was not valid and never been told it was a poor forgery, and never been treated so rudely by a ticket agent. My wife kept telling me this day was for the kids so I just paid and shut up. Got in and found she had charged me for a three day pass when I clearly ask for a one day. Back to her to argue some more.
Oh well, we get in and most all of the rides that are known were down for repair. My nephew told me that a few of them have been down for years. Why is that not part of the Disney commercials? The up side is that today I got to talk to three different families that were planning a trip to Disneyland this spring. All have changed their minds soley based on how I was treated as a disabled Vietnam Vet, and many of the rides were down and I will continue saying nothing positive about Disneyland based on my treatment by a ticketing agent. Thanks for the f…ed up memories.

  42. Sorry to Say that my wife spent the Last 4 Days with Grand Children and their Parents. At one of your motels and visited many of the PARKS. From what I heard on her Arrival home was shocking!!! Walt would be Flipping over in his GRAVE!! Most of your employee’s were very RUDE, and not HELPFUL at all. In the past we stayed at FORT Wilderness everyone was so helpful and meaning full. Now the Boat Driver, the Fort Wilderness Restaurant Welcome all were RUDE, In fact she was almost hit by one of your Golf Cart drivers at the Motel and he didn’t even STOP to say SORRY?? This will WEIGHT heavy upon our Return as a Guest there in the Future as any Relatives asking to go there? Not the HAPPY care FREE Place that Walt wanted it to be. On top of it all People pay Good Money to Stay there and Tickets too. To be Insulted!! Not the HAPPY care FREE Place that Walt wanted. Suggest you Go through all your Staff and Inform them!!

  43. I was going through security checkpoint before entering downtown Disney district and got to the front of the line with my family. I needed to return something to my car because it was not aloud in. I had 2 choices either return it to the car or relinquish it to Disney employee. I decided to return it and ask him if I could return to the front of the line because the line was very long. He could have easily said yes and there would be no comment from me. Instead he bluntly and coldly said NO. No smile from either of your 2 staff members checking bags. I believe in GREAT customer service. I was not rude or angry, but was inconvenienced. I believe in rules to be a guideline and it is a living adjustment to all situations. This could have been avoided in my opinion.

  44. Today we visited the parks. My husband, daughter, and I are passholders. Around noon we experienced unacceptable customer service at It’s a Small World. We have a red tag- it has been there for months and we use this service often, along with return times for my 4 year old who has an array of issues that make lines problematic. Also, I am dealing with kidney disease (one kidney, reduction of function, I’m quite easily exhausted). Our trips are usually quite short due to my issues and lack of energy. Apparently a date wasn’t on the red tag. The man refused to let us push our stroller through. Stated we needed to go to the front of the park immediately or park the stroller . I told him to scan the card to see that we have a return service in place, along with the red tag that we had been using for months. He was rude, loud, and aggressive. This is not our first disability service issue. Disneyland definitely does not have quality service anymore- not even in a realm of disabled services. We left the park and ended our day. I am beyond disgusted and will not be renewing our passes due to the situations we’ve encountered.

  45. I spoke to agent Lori last week and push the wrong button for the survey She was terrific and I booked a package. She was the most knowledgeable of all the agents I spoke with to get this booked and I hope she receives credit as I pushed 1 instead of 5.

  46. Today is our family vacation in the 1st time come to Shanghai Disneyland.
But unfortunately since we arrived here morning 10am up to 16.00pm, we just road 1 attraction due to long queues and i think this is very bad management and we don’t get objective to having fun here. Its supposed to be the happiest place on earth, but today our experience today is the opposite.

We’ve been to disneyland HK, Paris, Japan, and Shanghai is the worst review we ever visited. In terms its not worth in money, we also waste out time.

Hopefully you can improve and i can hear your reply from you.
If you need another data to support my email, i’ll send you.
    Thank you.
    Nina

  47. Hello my visit to Disneyland was not that great for a party of 12 We have a grandson has Sarabel palsy weWaited in line as normal but when we got there they said all you can’t wait here you have to go the other way and we asked them do we need to go to the exit entrance because he has a wheelchair we are missing forms and then another 20 minutes to wait very first-rate it also then we get to Mickey’s party to try to find the exit for the rides for him to go on no one would help us it was just a terrible experience you have people that work there that are misinformed do not help people with little children with disabilities it’s very sad and very frustrating I think contact other social media on this because it just wasn’t right on the other thing I wand to say You had a male police standing there with a light wand stick it under his penis and going back and force. That was so perverted I am sickened by thatI think we all need an apology my name is Virginia Handley

  48. I love going to Disneyland. I usually go at least twice a year and I spent time at the parks in Orlando. Yesterday, 12/15/18, I noticed there are drying booths across from the Grizzly River Run attraction. The booths are used for people to go and dry themselves out. I was told they cost $5 to use. I didn’t try them so I don’t know who well they work. I do know if you had a few of these drying booths set up in Disneyland at Roaring Rapids I would have happily paid the $5 to use them and dry off. I was already read from the Pirates of the Caribbean ride and got further soaked on Roaring Rapids. I was with a large group of family members that also said they would have paid to use the drying booths if they were at Roaring Rapids.

My suggestion is if you can install the drying booths even if there is a charge for them at Roaring Rapids in Disneyland.

    Thank You

  49. Dear Sirs, I paid 50$ extra dollars for max passes for my family and it was a total waste of money, I attended Friday-Dec. 28 and totally impossible to use unless you stayed until 11:30 at night. I’m sure you can check to see if I used them. I would like a refund or a voucher to use on my next visit- oh I spent at least 900$ on my visit there. I’m sure there are a lot of people like me out there that feel the same.

  50. I just spoke to your representative & explained I have a 3day park hopper Military ticket which my Grandson who is now serving the USMC overseas gave to me. I have 1 more day to be used. I wanted to use it during the holidays but unfortunately had back surgery on 10/25/18 & my wound opened up & needed 2nd surgery. Since then I have been on medical disability & expect to be be off on 01/21/19.

The representative explained the 1 year Military pass & that I could not get my ticket extended.

I feel this was unfair, due to my unforeseen health disability which I have medical documentation to prove my condition.

This made me feel discriminated as an honest disabled senior. How sad for others who go through this hoping & having their hearts set on going to Disneyland when it is decorated for the holidays & then out of their control have to forfiet that dream.

    Sincerely,
    Dolores Pedroza
