Customer Service Email

When customers visit http://www.craftsman.com/cscontactus/nb-100000000227055?adCell=W4, they can contact the customer service department. This is not the direct email address, rather the customer contact form. We noticed that the customer service hours are not available on the website, so we sent a message to the customer service department requesting the hours of operation. We immediately received a message stating a customer care agent would address our concern within two business days.

We feel this may not be the most efficient manner to contact the customer service department. Customers can connect with a representative on the Facebook page or the Twitter page.

Our Experience

The on-line customer care department is ready to take of the customer. Typically, customers have to endure a confusing automated system prior to speaking with a customer service representative. This is not the case with Craftsman. When contacting the customer care department, simply press 6 and the call goes directly to the customer service department. The customer service representative answered the call and we asked if we needed to contact Sears customer service department or Craftsman customer service department if we had a question regarding products. The agent explained to first line of defense is to contact Craftsman.

We feel as if the agent provided honest feedback relating to our question. Was the customer service representative honest with you? We want to hear the stories of customer just like you. We would like for you to share your story with us below.

  1. Tried to get in touch with Craftsman customer sderviced – web site just keeps taking you around and around, never giving you any info. Try to get warranty info and never get anyh help info.

    • YOu should think twice before wearing the craftsman brand…. NOT a quality product. Just read a majority of the comments here!! Sad sad sad

  2. Hi my name is Karsen McCullough and I love your company. I was wondering if I could get some free stuff like stickers, poster, t shirt, ect. so I could rep you. If you would send it to 120 Jena Leigh Drive Pelzer SC 29669. Thanks!

  3. I bought a new Craftsman 54 inch riding lawn mower from my local Sears store here in Murray, KY. I purchased it in April of 2011. Mechanically this has been a good, solid mower and I am pleased. As a hobbyist mechanic, I do all of my own maintenance and repair. This mower is actually a Husqvarna mower sold under the Craftsman name and Husqvarna builds a dependable machine. Here is my gripe: The seat on this new machine had severe cracks in the seat material during my first year of ownership. I went to my Sears dealer and they informed me that this wasn’t waranty. I found out the supplier and ordered a new craftsman seat from them and installed it. The original seat seemed flimsy and cheap and obviously did not hold up. Now I notice that all of my exterior decals on my mower saying Craftsman are peeling off and the mower is barely 2 years old. I keep the mower inside my barn, but of course it is exposed to the elements some too. My equipment is never abused and I regularly service it. However the side issues like the seat and the peeling off of the decals is causing me to rethink the high regard I’ve had for Craftsman mowers. Incidently, I also have a 48 inch Husqvarna riding mower and I’ve not had the exterior problems with it that I’ve had with my Craftsman. My next go around, I may purchase a John Deere riding mower noting that I’ve never heard negative comments on the exterior problems like I’ve experienced with Craftsman.
I just want you to be aware of my dissatisfaction and at present would not recommend a Craftsman mower to a friend
because of the problems I’ve experienced and the lack of sympathy from my local Sears dealer.

    • The Craftsman name that we grew to know is now unfortunately not the same that we grew up with, I for one can speak from experience as I’m in my mid 60’s. The Craftsman name is still a name to be reckoned with, it’s just not the original name of yesteryear, just as Sears itself is not the Sears we grew up with.

  4. to whom it my concern. I think I have a eazy, pretty symple, salution to the problem everybody complanes about with the 3 bagger systemm with the bags not filling up each one.pleaase get back to me and i’ll let you know. 860-309-4395 thanks.jim

  5. hi i bought a craftsman trimmer at my local sears… it had a two year warrant on it…. i had to have the trimmer sent off to be repaired and they keep it two weeks from the day you get it to you local store.. that dose not stop the grass from grow in them to weeks..My warrant was just about to run out and the trimmer that hasn’t really work good at all was giving me more problems. So it was sent back off for two more week to be fix again… I get a call from the sear repair place, and they tell me that it is going to cost me $175.08 to fix a $200.00 trimmer this time… we i ask them about the warrant they gave me a lame reason way the warrant wouldn’t cove it this time.. The lady told me that the trimmer had stale fuel in it,,, that had mess up the trimmer. I tried to tell her that couldn’t be true because the trimmer is used all the time… So be ware that it you have your craftsman tool sent of more then once!!!!and if it is still under warrant and you have to have them fix again they will come up with a lame reason not to fix it and make it your fought and you can’t get results out of the customer service.. So craftsman and sears does not stand be hand there stuff.. Sears and craftsman has loss me as a customer.. thank you for reading

  6. I fully expect that this comment sill go no where but I would like to voice my opinion anyway. I’m a fourth generation craftsman tool user. We have used only these tools as a tradition in believing that they were of the best quality. I have recently purchased several hundred dollars in new wrenches and socket sets. I got them home and recieved the rudest shock of my life. The words made in China literally put tears in my eyes. I refuse to put food on the table of sick nation that is always trying to down our country. I am a true red blooded American and I will NEVER set foot in a Sears store again as long as I live. I firmly believe in keeping Americans working and not the Chinese. What a national travesty!!!!

    • I know what you mean by not using a craftsman tool that says made in china. I went round and round but got results eventually with the higher ups at craftsman. Don’t fault the brand. Sears is just a distributor. Been that way forever.

  7. Bought craftsman 20 inch dual action blade corded hedge trimmer. Motor blew in 15 mins and I was cutting very thin limb Bush well within the machines cutting range per manual

  8. I recently purchased a Craftsman pressure washer (Model # 580.752870). When I started assembling and got to PerfectMix Detergent Siphon system I couldn’t believe what I was reading. A syphon hose is to be attached to the pump and attached to a PerfectMix bottle with syphon tube which goes into a bottle containing a detergent. Also the bottle bracket is to be attached to hold the detergent bottle. All of the parts are there except the bottle which is (not included). There is no reference in the manual as to where the bottle can be purchased, what size bottle the cap will fit that is attached to the syphon tube,or nothing. I am very disgusted that Craftsman can’t supply a $3.00 bottle so all the attachments can be assembled. If I had known that any of the parts were missing I would not have purchased the pressure washer. Please reply.

  9. Never ever will I buy a craftsman product again. We have had our lawn mower for 5 years and always did our own maintenance and care. This year the housing unit snapped with the bearing and some other part so we had to order the three parts from them. Told we would have the part 3-5 business days, almost two weeks goes by (grass growing like crazy on 5 acres that we maintain as our yard) was told the parts are all on back order and one was on back order for weeks yet. Was told it will be in on July 2nd which is now 4 weeks later (grass crazy out of control had to borrow a hand lawn mower/mulcher from a friend to do the grass just around our house and walkway) I call again on July 9th as still no sign of the part and now am told the part will be shipped out July 15th….LIKE OMG are you for real!!!!! They have no empathy or solutions to your ever growing grass either! Never ever again, worse service in my life! I bet if I got them to send out maintenance I would have had it fixed way sooner with a huge bill on top of it!!!! Useless and will never buy from them again!

  10. have a craftsman lawn mower under warranty had to take it to be repaired 5 times for the same problem when I contacted corp. all I got was a run around the rep. I talked to gave me a number for in shop repair, that does not work. BAD PRODUCT AND SERVICE

  11. I would like to say that today 8/4/14 I had the best and most helpful care with a purchase problem by your employee Shercia. I reached her thru your 800 number. Not only did she patiently listen while I somewhat ranted but in turn helped to resolve the problem that I had called on 3 times before. She followed through on what she said she was going to do and cleared up an ongoing issue with the recent purchase of the craftman mower in less then a half hour. Not only that but she new what your policies were in regards to warranty and returns. I wish she worked in every service support of all major companies because she is definitely a role model for anyone to follow. Thankyou again Shercia.

  12. Last week at the Sioux city Southern Hills Mall I stopped at the Sears stores with the intent to buy a sheet sander. On the shelf was the sander I would have purchased, but when I checked where it was made…. MADE IN CHINA!I walked away very disappointed and angry! I always trusted Craftsman tools now I will be looking at other brands and hope that they say MADE IN USA. I am not purchasing any junk made in China caring American brand companies. I am being very careful and checking labels any more. As a veteran I’m very insulted! I agree with Mr. Gary Oliver and Virginia one hundred plus percent. I’m not setting foot in Sears or intent to purchase any Sears products. Sears products are now junk, made in China or Mexico. And Ryan C. tell that to American workers who lost their jobs to China. And I do blame the brand company Craftman and Sears.

  13. I’ve been buying Craftsman tools all my life…(I’m 58)..I recently purchased a 10″ sliding compound miter saw…I’ve used it maybe 6-8 times…A part on it has broken already…made of plastic…almost everything else on this saw is metal..this piece is where you move the saw and tighten it down in the position you want…Under pressure, this PLASTIC piece will break..and

  14. It has taken until I am 70 years old to lose faith in Sears and their service. I have been a lifelong customer of sears, and even worked for
    sears after college.
To make a long story short, I purchased a craftsman mini tiller over a year ago and had to take it back three times for repairs. This last time I returned it because the starter rope wouldn’t retract. I paid the $50.00 diagnostic fee and waited. I received a call informing me that the price to repair the tiller would be over $120.00 dollars, at which time I informed them that I refused to spend any more on the tiller. When I went to retrieve the tiller I found the cord still wrapped around the handle like I gave it to them and other parts sticking all over the place.I don’t know about the Craftsman name, but service is gone to the dogs. I went and priced tillers at Tractor Supply, Lowes, Home Depot. All had a better deal and heck of a better service. Product get you there/ service sells and keep you there.(how is Sears profit line)

  15. We have a Craftsman toolboxes, metal. We need replacement locks and key. Three of them. How can I get these and where? thank you

  16. Bought a Craftsman Snow Blower and I certainly wished I hadn’t! What a terrible product. We’ve only owned it for 5 years, and it’s been broken more than it’s been useful. I tried speaking to a customer representative about this, and no one seems to care at all. This company does not back their products and certainly doesn’t care about their customers. Sears and Craftsman should be ashamed of themselves! Will never shop there again and take my hard earned money elsewhere! I put this warning out there to anyone thinking about shopping at Sears for Craftsman products.

  17. I purchased a pair of craftsman work boots and they are the most uncomfortable and poorly made boots I have EVER worn!!! Within a Month or so the back of the shoe inside wore out and I was in pain wearing them within 2 Months the inside ball of foot area wore out and I went thru a dozen or so pairs of socks!! It got to the point that I would go thru a pair of socks for each day the boots were worn!!!!! paid 100.00 and 30.00 in socks!! I would have been better off with a pair of 39.00 Walmart boots!! NOT HAPPY

  18. horrible!!!! I had a problem with a pair of work boots and was misinformed when I called customer service!! Lucky for sears there was a good manager on duty today at the store or I would have been done with Sears!!!!

  19. I bought a jacket for my husband from sears that seemed to be good quality. He wore it a few times and needed it washed so I followed the care instructions and the whole jacket fell apart. I have been trying for over a year to contact craftsman and have had no response. This is pretty crappy since they supposedly back their product. It is very frustrating.

  20. Long time craftsman user, not anymore bought new chainsaw in March of this yea saw would not run .brought it back 3 times still won’t run. Had a craftsman compressor they would not fix.Don’t waist your money craftsman is junk.I’m stuck with a compressor and a new chainsaw that won’t run.what a waste of hard earned money

  21. I too am a fourth generation Craftsman tool purchaser/user. As of today, this tradition will end. My father purchased a Craftsman cordless drill for my husband approximately 10 years ago. Now, the two batteries provided have stopped holding a charge. Understandable. However, the overall experience in trying to order a replacement battery has TIPPED THE SCALES. The battery is no longer available, deeming this tool unusable. After more than an hour to two customer service numbers (in locations “unable to be disclosed”, read: overseas) I wasted tons of time, after determining no battery was available, trying to come to what I thought was an agreeable solution: a partial credit towards the reselection of a new craftsman drill. 10% is what they offered!!! This is an offensive offer. I have worked in retail customer service. There is nothing wrong with our drill. The motor works, all parts function. I would expect Sears to make a better offer to maintain the longstanding loyalty of our family.

  22. Bought a craftman on May 5 2013 and got the 3 year service and was told on Sunday 6-28-2015 that the three year service contractended on May 5,2015. now where i went to school that is only two years. Have had this thing in the shop 4 times in two years for repairs. your service is the WORST!!!!!!!! Your people are the WORST!!!!! I am taking all my papers and going to the Better Buisness Bureau. You will get a report in a few days.

  23. Wow, What an amazing mower! My husband and I picked up this mower by someone (foolishly) throwing it out. We brought it home thinking it needed a little TLC, nope started right up. We just moved into a new home where the back of the property was way over grown my husband mentioned several times paying someone to clean up the property, my reply was the “craftsman” can do it. Hesitantly, this past weekend he let me bring out the MOWER, I don’t think a bush hog could have done so well. I will only by Craftsman or find them from now on. WAY TO GO

  24. as I have a craftsman tool box for over 4 yrs.it which it was a gift the handle just broke off a couple of days ago I need a good tool box, because I am a maintence man at two large hotels and my tools are my life..any way I went to my local sears in which I was told they couldn’t help me in a return or exchange because I did not have a receipt,so can u please tell me how I can get help to get a new tool box.i know that sears tools and tool box has a life time warrenty

  25. Over the past 30 some years I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars buying the craftsman name. Come to find out my tablesaw is not warranted. Along time ago when it had the craftsman name it had the craftsman warranty. Due to it not being warranted I will never ever buy a craftsman product again. It’s not like I want a whole new saw it’s just the power switch it’s a safety concern. You guys should have recalled it to begin with!!

  26. i have a craftsmans 1/2 inch drive rachet 44809 a-ae. i would like a refund for this product.it is a piece of garbage. i have had it replaced with a new one more than once,it is new but i do not want it. I want my money back but the sears store will not replace it.

  27. ARE you kidding me??????????? I can’t purchase a chain saw???? What a crock and the run around……. You people should be ashamed. Thanks for my wasted time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  28. I bought craftsman handtools from Sears and they saying they cannot replace him I depend on you have to do something please contact

  29. Why can’t you get a direct customer service email to craftsman? I tried above link several times and never was contacted back. Not very professional.

  30. I tried registering my Model 5275.1 C3 drill on line got on failure error message. Tried using customer care line got nowhere. They said they couldn’t find model# or product # super frustrating. Was told to go to store. Very unprofessional system.

  31. Well first off this seems to be the only way to leave a msg on this website. Maybe Craftsman management does not truly want to here from it’s customers.

I am a 3rd generation Craftsman tool owner and user. I have grown up and used Craftsman tools for over 40yrs. I was very saddened and disgusted when I went out to buy my son a new set of Craftsman hand tools. I went through the entire store and every set was China made crap!! I will say it again China made CRAP!! It is a shame when a great American company sells out it’s history, heritage, loyal customers, and employees by throwing quality out the door in pursuit of pure profit. I know the “company line” that all tools are still made to your standards. Well to that I call BS, I can feel the difference in a China wrench and a USA made one. The quality is NOT the same and to even say that shows the level of disdain management has for it’s American workers and American forgers. I am now stuck with hunting down and buying the true quality Craftsman tools from the used market, since you as a Corporation have sold us your loyal customer out and we can no longer buy good quality new Craftsman hand tools.

    Sincerely a very saddened customer

  32. I purchased two craftsman softgrip wallscrapers. Two different sizes. Both have glue on them from the manufacturer. I cannot remove it and would like to know how to remove it. Not sure if this is the site to get help, but when calling the phone numbers on line, I am not able to get through to anyone. And the one time I did, they hung up on me.

  33. Good afternoon,

I writing in hopes that you guys may be able to help, last night my aunt and uncles garage caught fire as you know any type of fire is VERY traumatic . Well here’s the thing my uncle had thousand and thousands of tools and to be quiet honest some were purchased for the some fact he maybe helping someone on a car and didn’t have that tool or helping build a building that they may have needed a special tool. My uncle has a heart of gold and will help just about anyone from cars,ATVs to building buildings and for nothing in return. He’s the guy that everyone goes to, and as he’s trying to pick up the pieces of this tragic fire like restoring electricity to there home he can’t because he only has the few odds and ends that ended up in the house throughout the years. My heart is breaking for them because I know insurance will help but at this point its a matter of when, and what is he suppose to do until then? So I writing in hopes that you guys would be willing to help him start back up give him the faith he needs to continue forward, I’m sure you can look up there account and see what they have purchased throughout the years and if you would like his name I’d be more then willing to give it but please help me help him.

    Thank you,
    Nikki Chase

  34. To Whom It May Concern,

A few years ago I bought a Craftsman tool box combo. It is a budget set. I have all craftsman wrenches and many other sears/craftsman tools. I’m in a wheelchair with a very limited income and spent a lot of money for this combo set. It was 100.00. To me that is a lot of money. Well this set is a cheap piece of crap. I can’t believe craftsman would even sell something like it. All the drawers have collapsed and fallen down. The set is out of warranty but I think craftsman should either replace it at no charge or refund my money. I could have bought a 60.00 dollar Walmart one and it probably would have been better. With being disabled I am not overdoing it as far as using it. Lets see if craftsman has any pride in there product and help me out. My name is Greg English 600 Harrison st Merrill, Wi 54452. My phone number is 715 218 1135. I’ll wait for your response.

    Thanks

    Greg English

  35. so I have always loved craftsman products but my craftsman lawnmower that I only have had for a year and a half has already needed to be serviced and isn’t starting again. I have always concised craftsman as one of the best out there but now I don’t think I will ever buy another craftsman lawnmower again. I paid 300 dollars for this lawnmower that isn’t working and I only used really one grass cutting season.

  36. I always purchased craftsman tools, drills ect. Because of the lifetime warranty. We’ll I went to sears to return my drill because it stopped working just to find out they no longer valid warranty on any craftsman electric tools. So now I want to know what craftsman is going to do?

  37. George Patterson

    Just now ·

    ..
update on where my foot came down, it came to rest on the shoulders of a very sweet girl, her name is MARIAN. she gave me her EAR for 45 minutes, when i was done, she said, Mr Patterson i totally see your point and we are going to take care of you today. she removed all charges billed for the mower, set up a DATE of 5/2/2016 at NO COST, parts & labor. PLUS, a check for 50$ sent to jeanie because, she had to put up with me during my testro overflow. she had more compassion for my needs than all the other’s put together. she’s 5 STAR in my book, MARIAN, may all you meet, treat you as nice as you treated ME.

MARIAN, THANK YOU. YOU ARE TRUELY A CUSTOMER RELATION PRO

  38. My husband bought a riding lawn mowe. It has been about two years. This is the worst lawn mover we have ever bought we will never buy another one. The last summer it was at the sear store all summer. My husband use it for less the 5 hours. And after them having the lawn mower it showed the we had over a hundred hours on it . Had it at home 1 day and back to the store shop again. By the time we got it back mowing season over. Last summer lawn mover still had problem so I had my husband call the number on the book that came with lawn mower. They sent someone to the house to fix it well have to wait for parts and then guy came back out but didn’t get it fixed. And again moving season here and there is still probleming. We have talk to many people and we’ll send you the part got x amount of money. With customer service like this does not wont us to buy and thing from us and will tell everyone about all our problems. I believe nothing was done about this because you all were letting the warranty run out so very very very unhappy customer

  39. I tried to call craftsman about a warranty i bought a tire inflator and it stopped working.i was transferred to sears by a very rude women ,her english was very hard to understand so i was sent to sears customer service where i was on hold for a while asked for my full name then hung up on. This happened 2 times.i doubt very much i will be buying craftsman anymore i Never had a problem in my life returning craftsman . I was shocked on how i was treated. The operator stated i needed a home inspection for a 40$ air pump . Thank you for your time a very Loyal disappointed craftsman customer. Brian falanco

  40. I called Craftsman parts and they could not tell me how to get ahold of the manufacturer or how to get the wires to finish putting together my generator I don’t understand why

  41. I I

I am so frustrated!!! I have waited 3 weeks for a service tech to look at my mower he says will be another 2 weeks before parts get her to “rebuild” the motor … Really over a month th without the mower why can’t they bring me a new one

  42. Right now I am very angry. I have been on the phone for 2 hours being bounced around to department to department. I have been disconnected 3 times. Nothing has been resolved or a straight answer given. I thought Craftsman always stood by its products. What I was asking seemed simple to me but no one could give me an answer. I am sooo frustrated right now.

  43. Bought a Craftsman LT2000 brand new from Sears. Kept in garage and used during summer months once a week. It is 7 years old and out of warranty. Recently had repair tech out to look at oil leaking from rear tires and was told it needs a new transaxle. Problem is that parts are no longer available. How can a company sell this item to consumers and just decide not to make the parts available for repairs? So as it stands now – I basically have to pay a $25.00 fee for garbage pick up to take it from the curb. Was told from Sears rep. that they were sorry they couldn’t help me and maybe I should start with purchasing a new one. Really???? Bottom line – Sears Craftsman tractors are junk and shouldn’t be sold. Go with a Deere.

  44. Over the last week I’ve been trying to buy sliders for the drawers of my craftsman tool box. My tool box model number is (33534). Visiting my local Sears store the same slider was in their floor model (33537) which they currently now sell. I even found the part number which is (27858). I’ve had no luck ordering this part through Sears. In fact the store clerk spent approximately an hour on the phone phoning different numbers trying to order the parts. So its not from lack of trying. It seems that corporate offices have other interests than providing service to their valuable customers.

  45. Craftsman is the worst mowers to get!!! I’ve had my zero turn for 2 years and first day i had it broke down! And to try and replace don’t even bother buying the protection they screw you around as much as possible . I will never go back to sears again for anything!!!!!!!

  46. CRAFTSMAN HAS ONE OF THE TOP 5 WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! First you click on “customer care” on their website and then you see 4 categories with images where by one is a PHONE with the words “CONTACT US” in BOLD Red LETTERS but when you click on it YOU DON’T GET A PHONE NUMBER!!! They’re LIERS and just give preformatted questions to choose from that often doesn’t even have the question you have and/or doesn’t provide the answer. Approx 1 year ago our local Sears closed and I specifically was told by their manager “not to worry…craftsman set up a process for it’s customers that they can contact craftsman customer service and they will provide the customer with either a mailing envelope or a prepaid shipping label in order to return our craftsman lifetime guaranteed tools. I just called craftsman and WAS GIVEN ONE OF THE BIGGEST RUN-AROUNDS by a bunch BARELY-SPEAKING-ENGLISH service reps who are MORE INCOMPETENT THAN the EBAY SELLERS FROM CHINA. I WAS SENT FROM ONE DEPARTMENT TO ANOTHER FOR LITERALLY 2 HOURS!!! Each service rep either telling me that the previous service rep transferred me to the wrong department or I was given OVER 6 DIFFERENT phone numbers to call as well that only ended with them not knowing what is to be done, and so transferred me again or it ended with them telling me to go to stores near me and replace my tools but yet the idiots don’t even have their system updated since the other stores like K-mart that our located near me closed over 6 months ago!!! The final customer service rep I got was actually one I was transferred to who worked in the closest sears store near me who said although he heard of the mailing option for getting our tools lifetime tools replaced, he didn’t have specific information and then HE BLEW ME OFF when I desperately asked him to find that information since I have spent hours of searching and phone calls but getting NOWHERE! He then was an IDIOT to suggest driving to his Sears store to replace my tools even after I made it clear to him that I shouldn’t have to nor do I want to drive nearly an hour to the store just to replace my screw drivers…. I will have more in gas money than the screw drivers are even worth!!! CRAFTSMAN SOLD OUT TO HIRING FOREIGN WORKERS!!! YOU SUCK CRAFTSMAN AND WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING WHEN YOU FILE BANKRUPTCY LIKE SO MANY OF THE HEADLINES ARE SAYING HOW IT’S NOT FAR OFF FOR SEARS/CRAFTSMAN!!!

  47. Got the run a round on the phone with a poor speaking service rep to no avail directed me with diffrent numbersabout a simple prouduct i purched at a local sears store productnot good air pump after alongwhile agent gave me a case# with information i provided and wastold to call back 24 to 48 hours i called no one seems tohave case # and igot mad hung up this system is a farce including agent brenda who was incompatent angry here wont buy products there tell you ceo to better customer service thank you

  48. I purchased a replacement remote Model 139.30498 for my garage door opener Model 41A4315-7D. I followed the programming instructions in the box carefully and I cannot get the remote to work. I asked my neighbor (an electrical engineer) to ehlp me and it didn’t work for him either. I called Sears Customer Service and the best they can do is offer to send out a Technician to program it for me at a cost of $79.99. I figured there may be someone that could give me help over the phone in case I’m not understanding the instructions in the box. Isn’t there a reasonable solution to this problem? I’m an old Senior & have to be very careful on ladders.

  49. This was the most frustrating “customer service” experience I have ever had. I get someone from the Philippines that can barely speak English, and clearly does not understand it very well. “YOUR WASTING YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE BUDGET, AND NOT SERVING YOUR CUSTOMERS USING THESE FOOLS!!! They don’t care about you and your American company or its problems. They take your money to handle the ugly end of things you don’t like, but they don’t care about your business. And frankly, you don’t either if that is the best you care to do for your customers when they have a problem.
My problem was still unresolved and my frustration is worse than before I tried to get help. I buy new tools so I don’t have to dick around with stuff that don’t work. Time is money. When the new tools fail, and your service sucks, YOU DONT GET MY MONEY ANY MORE.
Should I feel obligated to get on the internet and warn others not to waste their time and money on Craftsman power tools?

  50. I have a mower I believe is 1959 with rotor crank. It is in great condition and runs. Is it worth anything? I tried to send a pic but it would not let me. It does not have steering wheel. It has a handle.

  51. you know I have always had the hand me down tools and finally after saving some money up I was able to purchase my first what I thought was a good brand set mechanics tools and instead I go to use my socket set and first time. While using it the whole guts of my ratchet blow out on me and I bought this set from sears and went to try to replace it. They couldn’t find my information yes I didn’t have my receipt but I mean who keeps all their receipts since I just bought the set of tools I figured they would last years but not even the first couple months is pretty ridiculous I have always supported craftsman but after this mess of not having able to get in reach with anyone to resolve this matter is pretty upsetting.

  52. Simply trying to order a part for an older US made ratchet that I did not want to exchange for imported junk proved impossible, got transferred more times than I can count, had to hang up and redial several times because the person on the other end had both extremely poor command and comprehension of English to the extent that they simply could not understand what I was trying to accomplish. Never did get the issue resolved, ended up buying the parts kit on eBay.

Craftsman quality has plummeted in recent years, and the customer service is abysmal to put it mildly. They have lost my business forever.

  53. Subject: FW: Snowblower Parts MOD 95052512-6

Can you please help me with parts numbers for my Craftsman Snowblower model as above.
The parts I require are Item 45 chute worm gear, and item 71 worm gear bracket, both listed above on the upper handle jpg,
    Than you in anticipation
    Tom Foley

  54. Where do u get craftsman tools in bc Canada phone the help line they gave me a Vancouver number phoned that number they told me to go to sears which is no longer in business. Used these tools for 45 years r they not available in Canada any longer where can I buy replacement sockets

  55. Hello,

My name is Bradyn from Pennsylvania. I have a lot of your products and really enjoy their quality and appreciate your company’s outstanding loyalty and service. I was wondering if it would be possible to receive some stickers from you to show off my pride in choosing your brand over others, thanks!

  56. I have had craftsman mowers for years. Always have been good quality. Made
out metal parts easily to be replaced. Imagine my surprise when I purchased a
Craftsman mower about 2 years ago, and one day went to start the mower
and nothing, tried and tried doesn’t even have a prime button. Took it to the
repair shop and imagine my surprise when I was told the carbuerator is now made out of all PLASTIC. Repair shop had to replace the whole item for $60.00.
Years ago this wouldn’t have happened, because parts would have been able to
be replaced separately. Not the whole carbuerator. Corporate America has
really sold out. Just to have a good bottom line. Really sad state of affairs!!!

  57. I ordered craftsman item 30025 which is 25 piece bit and socket set. Not in store item so salesman ordered online for me. It arrived in a padded envelope with 25 loose pieces–no case, not held in cardboard or hardplastic as you see displayed in stores. Went back to Sears and tried calling two 800# available for explanation. How do you give as Holiday gift when item arrives in that condition?

  58. I have tried calling all of the Craftsman Customer Support Lines at least 5 times always given another number to call, then, transferred around the world several times never getting anywhere. Calling their support line and trying to talk to their animated attendant is useless. I can’t seem to speak with anyone that knows anything about whom or what group handles the Tech Support for the Craftsman Assure Link Internet Web-Portal accounts or an email address so I can send them an email addressing the issues I’m having.. THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SUPPORT I’ve ever encountered.

  59. Ok who owns Craftsman tools now? I took some wrenches to local sears store
for replacement from damage. I got replacements and instead of Forged in USA
stamp they had made in china stickers on them. What the heck is more American than :”CRAFTSMAN” hand tools!!? This just isn’t right. I will not be purchasing
any more made in china Craftsman tools.

  60. I have a 7133921 mulching kit for my new 42 inch tractor .It only give me 1 cutting year of service. It is not what I looked for in a craftsman produce. I am 73 and have used craftsman all my life. From my large tool boxs to lawn care. Very disapointed,
    very disapointed in part.

  61. Because of YOUR late shipping of my mower transmission I have to wait 3 more weeks for tech appointment . Mower is only 3 years old and costs me $1,150 for hydro replacement . Not happy with you or Sears. Will never buy another Craftsman mower again and by the way if you even give a crap I have bought 3 in the last 5 years for me , my mom, and church . Word spreads !!!

  62. I tried to order a rachet kit for an older Craftsman torque wrench model# 944443.. They gave me a part number(5224S75) and I asked if they could send a picture of the item which they did. I then tried why the parts in that picture would not fit my wrench, they assured me it would. So I reluctantly ordered the part, it arrived yesterday (7-20-2018) one look at the parts told me this would not work. I contacted them today over their chat site, which is the same way I ordered the part, and told them the part would not fit in my wrench. They sent me a UPS label to return the part, I was actually surprised and impressed that they did! When pressed him to give me an email or snail mail address to send them pictures of my wrench he said they were not set up to do that. ARE YOU SERIOUS! I asked to speak to a manager, he came back in a moment and told me the manager was tied up and to try back on the chat line in an hour or two. (?) I then tried to have him call me, again were not set up to do that! I asked him to email me, we’re not set up to do that! He finally said we don’t have parts for your wrench. Surely somewhere in this companies records they can provide me with a correct part number for the kit I need even if they don’t make it anymore. I GM can give me part numbers (discontinued numbers at that) for cars built in the ’40’s and ’50’s why can’t Sears find a number for my wrench? No wonder this company is going belly up!

  63. I have an idea that will make almost everyone want to rebuy there tools from u again. With no big change, one small addition to some of your best tools! Who do I tell or get a non disclosure agreement form?

  64. I have an idea that will make almost everyone want to rebuy there tools from u again. With no big change, one small addition to some of your best tools! Who do I tell or get a non disclosure agreement form? Richy Harper 4356561805

  65. Purchased Craftsman LF-20CR” 3-Speed, High- Velocity Fan from sears on September 20th 2017. 11 Months later the fan motor becomes slow and emits sparks. I go to Sears to resolve issue. Sears employee tells me they do not handle product defects. I call Craftsman warranty number. They direct me to sears product service. Sears Product Service tells me that I must contact Craftsmen for Manufacturer Warranty. I call Sears Customer Service number and tell me to contact Sears store where I purchased Fan to resolve issue. I call store and I am forwarded t to a manager. Manager says they do not handle manufacturer warranty and can not do anything about my defect product. I call customer service number and customer service associate agrees that Sears retail should handle issue because I haven’t owned my product for more than a year. I still have defect product.

  66. I have a vintage patent pending 1/2″ Socket Wrench that I have had for 60 years and have tried to find out when it was made but have been unsuccessful! It has no serial or mod numbers, only patent pending and it is a workhorse as good as a breaker bar for tough use! If anyone knows how to get more information about it please respond how.,

  67. SEARS! THIS IS YOUR MAJOR FLAW!!! I am commenting about your tools. Sears is loosing business by leaps an bounds and I know there are many factors but your tools are junk. You partnered with Kmart and Ace Hardware which having little effect. Now with Lowe’s and which prove to be the same results. If you want your company to be success try fixing the major flaws on your tools. They are cheaply made with quality pricing. I dare you to compare any of your ratchets to a Stanley brand ratchet. Same pricing but Stanley is a quality tool with a great price and a lifetime guarantee. The ratcheting mechanism is much smaller causing a smaller arc necessary in tight spaces. Also, the craftsman ratchet is clunky
with a plastic reverse switch. Harbor Freight sells a better ratchet. I purchased a pancake compressor from Harbor Freight that is the EXACT model of your Craftsman model. Why would I pay more for your sticker on it? Your hand power tools are made by the same company as Black ans Decker, or at least the same quality. Your stores do not have what I want in the tool dept. and your 18- 20 something sales associates know NOTHING of your product. I have seen your stores and products decay over the last 20 plus years. This is a shame as your name used to mean quality. Not even close now. The people who purchase your tools know nothing of tools and are more than likely someone’s grandmother buying tools for her grandson who will be disappointed. I really hate to see you company die due to negligence of marketing and not product improvement. Please, for the sake of loosing an American icon and the oldest name SEARS, fix yourself. Try asking mechanics , carpenters, people of the trades what they think of your products. They are not buying your product, they are buying DeWalt, Milwaukee and even Ryobi. Look on message boards to see what people say about your tools. None of it is positive. Or wait, just read all of the posts here, we are all saying the same thing. Your tools are JUNK!
If you reading this are an employee of the customer service department please sent this to your corporate personnel in hopes this will help. I doubt it will because like most corporate talking heads, they know all and don’t care, will collect their pompous pay and do nothing. Shame!

  68. I’ve been promised free tools from your company doing surveys and have received no sample tools from your company and would like for you to stand by your promise of free tools samples. I have used your product all my life faithfully. Thank you. Greg Barnes,650 state rt. 187 Humboldt Tennessee 38343. 731-300-8589
