Our Experience

When we contacted customer service we endured the automated system. The system continued for approximately 3 minutes and finally we pressed 0 multiple times in hopes of speaking to a live customer care agent. We waited an additional 5 minutes and finally the representative answered. The tone of the representative was not pleasant; in fact, the customer care agent was rather rude. We explained we wanted information about setting up an account. Although the question was answered, the representative did not appear happy to fulfill our request.

As far as customer service goes, The Bradford Exchange has some work to do. Our experience was not favorable. Did the company leave you sitting on hold and not seem to care? We want to hear your story.

  1. You do not want to hear what I think of this company.
    For the past 3 days, 2 E-Mails (No Response) 4 Different
    telephone numbers, and close to 2 and 1/2 hours on hold.
    AND NO ANSWERS. It’s great to here on the recordings I’ll be with you shortly (3 Days) of trying. I have bought a lot of items from this business, but I think it just came to a end. I think you should end using the the term Customer Service, you have no clue what that is. As I type the recording says Continue to Hold, calls are answered in the order received. 3 Days!!!!! What do you have 1 telephone. If you care call 406-494-5370. I’ll expect a response in about a week. Boy am I out of it.
    3 Days to talk to a major company, you should just laugh.

    • I tried calling the Bradford Exchange for one hour, and never did I speak to someone in customer Service . Finally after waiting for over an hour,my phone call was disconnected.If this is the way you do business, I will never order anything from you again.

  8. Quality assurance? Bull! I ordered an item in May or June. I continue to receive notices that shipment has been delayed. Now it is supposed to be shipped February 2013. This is absolutely ridiculous! The only reason I want this order is because I haven’t seen this item elsewhere. I will never order from you ever again. If this weren’t a gift for my daughter I would cancel it. And the music I have to listen to while on hold is horrible, missed notes.

  12. OMG….reading the previous comments is making me really nervous. On hold right now for about 8 minutes and have already heard offers of making a credit card payment 8 times……Have sent 2 emails regarding a return and have heard ABSOLUTELY nothing back. What’s up with that??? The ring I ordered was misrepresented in the picture, need a magnifying glass to see the engraving, the stones are gaudy! Good Lord! Will they EVER answer the phone?????

    • I went on your website for the first time today, Nov. 24, 2013. I was checking out two Steeler items. a Steeler snowman and a seeler necklace. I do not know how to delete them.   14. Well intially, I was intrepid dealing with Cust Svc after reading comments here and other places. However, while I did have to wait like 10-15mins to speak with Cust Svc, I spoke with Katelyn to check on an order that I eventually had to cancel because it wouldn’t arrive in time, and was back ordered. Overall, wish I could have gotten the item, but the experience was better then expected.

  16. I ordered a Christmas gift for my daughter. I was told it would be delivered before Christmas, however, it would cost extra. I agreed to that. This is now 4 days after Christmas and it still has not been delivered. I will be disputing the charge on my credit card. I find it interesting that Amazon deals with this company. Normally they don’t deal with companies that don’t perform. I will never order from the Bradford Exchange again. There customer service does not exist.

  17. It’s almost impossible to reach you by telephone. 30 minutes was way too long to be on hold. I reserved “My Daughter I Love You Always. Sent my first payment of $23.33 in on 11/12/12 and never received Crystal Music Box nor a second statement. My check for the above amount has already cleared. I want a response immediately as to what happen.
    I order items through Bradford quite often & never en-

  20. I agree with someone above who said “worst company ever”. Marketing tactics that should be illegal, no indication that you are buying a “subscription” until after you order… Almost impossible to contact…And very poor quality product!!! Numbers everywhere to order more cheap crap, but nothing about cancelling. On hold forever, bounced from person to person when someone does actually answer…UNBELIEVABLE that companies like this are allowed to stay in business in this day and age.

  21. To whom it may concern: I placed an order for two (2)granddaughter diamond pendant”s. I received a invoice for one only. If you are unable to make this correction and mail me a bill for both pendant’s per my request please cancel the whole thing, for you see i have two granddaughters and i would not think of buying for one and not the other, thats the way grandmothers are, or at least this one is. The discription of purchase product and order # is as follows 01-11610-001 qty 1 for a total price of 108.98 for Granddaughter Diamond Pendant. I hope to here from you with this correction, if you are unable to do so, you may cancel the whole order, I do not want just one pendand but the two i ordered and was hoping to receive together as that was the way they were ordered and wish to receive them together, if you are unable to do this for me i regret you will have to cancel the whole order and by some of the comments i have read on comment pages i guess i will not and nor will you here from me again.   25. It appears Bradford does not want to be contacted for problems. My order was only partially filled (one out of 3)& shipped, then they sent an email thanking me for the order that never arrived, yet they do not respond to email questions or phone calls about the delay/product not arriving when they said it had.
    I needed these necklaces for my granddaughters birthdays and they have not yet arrived, almost a month after the order was placed. Very frustrating. They should post their customer contact phone # clearly on their web site, and have it open 7 days/week…use some of their advertising $’s to ensure current customers are taken care of.

I have ordered from Bradford Exchange before with satisfaction, BUT, in February of 2013 I order a soul mate ring for my granddaughter, Rachael and her fiance, Seth and had it drop shipped to her address in Fayetteville, AR. It has been an absolute diaster! The first ring has Seth spelled with a P and after finally calling I was promised another ring would be sent and guess what… the second ring is wrong. This time they mispelled Rachael they spelled it Rashel which is wrong. and Seth’s name was still spelled with a P. This must be foreign people who do not know how to inscribe the correct letters. Please help me I paid for the ring with my Credit card and the kids still do not have a corrected ring.

After it did not arrive I called and was told there was a delay and would be available April 19th and I would receive it from that shipment. So when I gave my daughter her birthday present I printed a picture of the bracelet with your promise of late April delivery. She was excited about receiving it to show off to her friends. After checking today I am now being told it will not be available until May 24th and maybe not even then. I want this bracelet and a commitment that I will receive the bracelet in the next delivery received for shipping and exactly when that will be. I will be expecting a response with requested information within 48 hours.

  31. I am getting really upset with this company. I need to talk to customer service about a subscription plan that I am currently in. Their is no phone number to contact them that I can find on the website. I cant log in or view my account or contact them by clicking on it. It never opens up. I did a search to get their number and found a number to call them. I call them no customer service on weekends. Then I see all these post on here that you can’t get ahold of them anyway. It looks like all the comments people has made has held on the phone for hours and still might not get to talk to anyone. This is a large well known company so why is it that customers can’t get any information they need? If Bradford Exchange doesn’t have a way to contact them without a bunch of trouble I don’t have to buy their products. I can go somewhere else.

  37. As with many of you, this company stinks. I have paid for “Kinkade’s Treasured Moments. My check was cashed on 5/8/13. I mailed it on 4/25/13. I sent e-mails as well and still haven’t received a answer. The item is scheduled to be shipped before Christmas. It’s a centerpiece and it takes 7 months to get it? This is unacceptable to say the least.This is stupid. Obviously I will probably not get my order either. I have placed many orders and have had trouble with every one of them.   39. I ordered checks 2-3 weeks ago and was very pleased with the checks and the fast service. However, I am trying to order more checks for a different account and I put in all the information but it does not give me the opportunity to put in a different bank name I guess your computer program just assumes it is the same as before. I have tried several times and keep putting my info in but have to leave the site because it never allows me to put this info in. So, Bradford Exchange keeps E-mailing me that I have an unfinished order, but I can’t finish it unless I can enter a different bank name and address. Can you help me.

  41. I sent a check for the total amount on a gift I bought my daughter-in-law for her birthday. The check was cashed for $68.98 on 07/23/2013. I have not received any kind of notice on when this will be shipped. This was my first time to order from this company and It will be my last time.   42. I am so frustrated with The Bradford Exchange. I’m sure my documentation is there, but on July 10 I ordered a ring for my granddaughter’s anniversary. I was told it would ship in 2 to 4 weeks. It is now August 23rd and after numerous attempts to contact them I still don’t have the ring to give my granddaughter. I recently was told because of the engraving it would take longer. I wasn’t told that at all when I placed the order. I keep checking to see if it’s been shipped, but nothing yet. I don’t want to cancel this order because this was a promise I made to my granddaughter as she fell in love with the ring, as I did as well. My husband has ordered many things from The Bradford Exchange and everything is beautiful, but why has this ring not been shipped to me yet? I think they have had ample time to engrave it and ship it. I am so disappointed! I’m hoping it arrives soon.

  45. This company is a SCAM! There is NO such thing as customer service, that too is also a scam! They will take your $, faster then a New York second! After several eternal holds on the “non-existent customer service line” I have attempted to mail them cancelations notifying them that I do NOT want ANYTHING from their company EVER! I have refused shipments, unopened marked return to sender yet they continue to mail me a bill!!!

    After reading all the negative reviews about the same issues that I’m having, I think that the Better Business Bureau, the Attorney General AND the national new stations should be made aware of their practices. I’m even considering hiring a harassment attorney to STOP this aggravation!

  46. I have spent days on the phone pressing 6 to wait to talk to someone in customer service. A total of an hour and a half of my time and have not been able to talk to anyone. All I want to do is stop shipments. I will never order another thing from them. The customer service is horrible. Shame on you. I was going to keep this last shipmwent but I am so aggrivated I am returning it “as refused”.

  47. I ordered the Brand Name Cookbook and mailed a check for the order. I thought I was finished with this transaction, but to my surprise I have received another invoice for the amount of $14.00 requesting payment for an item that I did not order. I have tried calling them for days on end without success.

  55. I ordered a canvas painting, paid $25 extra for 2-day shiiping. I received delivery as promised, however I received a Snowman snow globe thing which I DID NOT ORDER. I called the day after Christmas ans snet an email at the time I received it, but apparantly the day after Christmas is a Holiday in Indiana, not the next buisness day as expected.. Very Unhappy, not sure if I will purchase anything again form The Bradford Exchange.

  56. I have been promoised a refund of $34.00 for a service charge my bank charged me for an overdraft due to Bradford Exchange. I sent them a check for my second installment, (first one being made with our credit card) with the assumption that once they received the check, they would not charge the credit card. I wrote to them complaining how they held the check until past the due date, charged the credit card and the same day processed the check, which overdrafted our account. In the email response I did get back, they informed us that they would refund the $34.00 charge. This was about 2 weeks ago. I contacted them and informed them that other companies have credited my account for one reason or another and it can be done in a matter of less than 24 hours. I let them know that I will be contacting the BBB and our attorney with a copy of the email in which we were promised a refund of $34.00. Still, nothing back. We have spent a very large amount of money with this company of the past few years, and believe me, it will never happen again. I have told my spouse that there is to be no more purchases from them, and I will be posting my complaint on all social networks I am on. This company needs to be turned over to the BBB every chance anyone gets. Never will be purchase ANYTHING from there. I can purchase ANYTHING they have somewhere else and will!

I was promised guaranteed a ship that I ordered for a very close friend Dec. 19 and Now it’s Jan. 2 and I still haven’t received my shipment and tried calling them several times and emails but still no responses….of I ever get my shipment….I promise this will be the last business they will ever get from me and if I don’t receive my shipment soon….they will be served court papers for a lawsuit! She did not give me an authorized number and said simply to return the product — although she did request my account number. I have no idea how this Company remains in business.

  61. So disgusted with the Bradford Exchange. I was promised something for Christmas that I ordered the summer of 2012! It was delayed so gave the picture of the item to the person. Well, here we are January 2014 and still have not received it. I get a delay post card every three months. No one will give me a straight answer just that it will come in three months like the post cards says. I pushed today and was advised that they are waiting for the Manufacturer. I asked if I had to get 20 people to put in an order then cancel them to get them to make it, was told no. The manufacturer just keeps delaying. DO NOT DEPEND ON THEM FOR AN ITEM
