Our Experience

When calling the Avon customer care hotline, customers are greeted with an automated system with few choices. One of the options directs the call to a customer service representative. Our total wait time was less than 2 minutes. When the call was transferred to an agent, we asked if we were a United States agent and wanted to ship internationally, could this be possible. The representative explained that Avon representatives have the ability to generate business online, with no face-to-face contact.

  1. AVON Canada STINKS. I have tried and tried to phone their office in Quebec – or wherever – but their phone representative(s) must be on an extended leave because I cannot get through to anyone after MY EXTENDED WAITS ON THE PHONE. Even trying another line of Avon’s is no good. And all I wanted was to know was(because somewhere on all their convoluted Internet sites it says that the Beyond Color Radiant Lifting Eyeshadow been discontinued or is no longer available) if, if, if that is true and I can no longer buy it. But the trouble and frustration just isn’t worth it and I am totally disgusted because I don’t want to waste my time on a company that doesn’t seem to have any customer relations. Goodbye Avon.

  2. I ordered 4 glimmersticks from an Avon Rep at a craft vendor show on Topeka, Ks on Nov 2. I paid in cash and unfortunately washed receipt in my pocket. The order was to be shipped to me on the following Friday, Nov 8. I had not received my order so I called the Rep. No response from the rep. I got the number from the craft organizer and called that person. She stated she would call me back. Of course she didn’t so yesterday I called again. She told me the rep worked a full time day job but would be calling me yet on Fri evening. No call. I called the third n. listed on vendor form this morning–disconnected number! I called the rep again–no answer so I called the other no. I had spoken to previously –no answer. By now I am thoroughly upset! I either want my glimmer sticks or my money back. The Rep is Debbie Bays. I have no idea who the other woman was as she never identified herself–just how did I get her number! Do you need to ask yourself why you are in bankruptcy!

I have been a Avon customer for many years, also a representative for a few years until I got to busy with work.I was very disappointed when you decided to discontinue AVON SUN AGE DEFYING SPF 30 SUNSCREEN LOTION. I’ve been using this product since it came on the market,I have psorasis and as long as I use this product it as been kept away. i use it every day after my shower. Because it is only in your brochures at spring and summer,I buy enough to last me through the winter.I’ve shopped around and couldn’t fine any product with the same ingredients that worked for me the same as AVON SUN AGE DEFYING SPF 30 SUNSCREEN LOTION. Please reconsider and bring back this product I desperately need it for my skin.

  4. Ridiculous. The reps are great but I feel sorry for them. Avon has really poor customer service and nothing gets accomplished calling the 800 number. I was sent the wrong product, twice, because of an error in the catalog. I was told the pictures were switched. The item I actually wanted was listed at a lower price, that they do not want to honor. I waqs called a liar by the representative, Rosa and had to email a picture of the page to prove what they had listed, when I was told byt another rep that they were aware of the error. It has been almost 3 weeks and I still do not have the correct product. I WILL NEVER EVER EVER order from Avon again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Something is not right, my Avon Represenative asked for my $$$ in advance and when i paid in cash she told me that there was a shipping charge. I have ordered avon years before from a Avon Represenative, and I have never had to pay until my avon products were delivered and no shipping charges. I also ordered from this Avon Reprsenative from her book she gave me at work. Something tells me that this does not smell right. I will never order Avon again!!!! She does not even put in the order until 6/6/2014. What Gives!! This is not the Avon I know!!!

    I ordered item #03712740 & #03712640 Lip Crayons. I received them and tried them on, I did not like them. There is too much glitter in them. I thought they would be like the other lip pencil I have ordered in the past, but discovered they were not. I’m sorry I need to return them.

I have been purchasing your glimmerstick liqui glid for sometime now I have had bad experiences with the eyeliner it breaks alot wasting much of the product and I recently changed from using the black to the brown and I am not happy it also breaks and for some reason it’s so light and almost transparent that it gives no color at all I have been an Avon customer for many years and have always bought your make up but it seems I may have to find better eyeliner at the store, please don’t change your eyebrow pencils yours are the best out there.

  8. I have to return several items from and online order that didn’t fit. AVR 0130483299. They are 03879530 03879520 and 03873430. The booties were too small and the slippers were too big.

  10. I have never been so upset with AVON…. I’ve learned from both of my Avon Representatives that the “BACKUP ORDER” I had for Campaign 8 was refused!!!!
    The EXCUSE Avon gave to both of my representatives were that all the lipsticks I had ordered were only for this campaign… What the heck do you mean by that? Both of my orders were BACKUP ORDERS which were placed in Campaign #9 and it seems that for NOT a valid reason you had decided not to honor it which I think it was WRONG…
    i have been a customer for many years and many times I had to wait up to 3 campaigns to wait for something I have ordered and you didn’t have in stock…. AVON YOU STINK! I am DONE WITH YOU….

  11. I recently ordered 3 watches from you. At first you told me my credit card was not authorized and my order had been cancelled. I wrote back indicating that other online vendors had no problem with my credit card. Today I received an e-mail stating although my credit was authorized, the items were no longer available. This has happened before, and I’ve turned around and had someone else order the items for me and lo and behold, the items magically became available. For this reason and the fact that your people apparently don’t know what they are doing, I will no longer purchase anything from Avon, and I will make it my duty in life to advertise your shoddy customer service to others.

I became a representative and never was help I had an order for 354.00 and the lady helping me never had time to meet with me this was horrible I had to tell all my customer I didn’t order due to the lack of assistanc so iam no longer a representative never again maybe mary kay has better assistance with with their employees

  14. I have been an Avon rep for over 25 years. I have realized that Avon does not wish to talk with their sales reps. The phone number is a national secret. If I call I have to pay the long distance charges even though I am on hold for an inordinate amount of time.I did not receive my order, but did receive someone else’s. I am still waiting for my order. It’s been 10 days. Avon is threatening to freeze my account because I haven’t paid for the order I have not received. Any time I have emailed Avon about certain questions for my customers I have not been honoured with a response. Where is everyone?in the bathroom trying on makeup? I am still on hold as I type. If Avon wants to become an online company, please let us reps know so we don’t waste time and money advocating for an organization that is not supportive of its sales people. I shall be resigning.
