Customer Service Email
When customers connect with the customer service department by email http://support.atari.com/index.php?/Tickets/Submit, they are in fact using a customer feedback form to open up a support ticket. The applicable departments include mobile, product key, technical support and game play. We sent an email relating to technical support. We wanted to know if the technical support department was available 24/7 for gamers playing around the world. The automated response stated we should receive communication from the customer support team within two business days.

When we contacted the customer service department we encountered the standard automated system providing an excessive amount of options. The system was a bit confusing. Instead of directing the call to the customer support team, there were options to call a different number/department. Overall, we waited more than minutes before reaching the correct department and the customer support team. We asked the representative for information relating to the security of the online play, in particular, are the games rated.
The agent explained the hard copies of games are rated, whereas online gaming is not rated by the ESRB. The agent went further to explain Atari groups various online games into age appropriate categories. The call was simple and to the point after the confusing beginning. We would love to hear your Atari customer service story. Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
