Contacting Atari Customer Service Center

Atari is one of the original video game manufacturers, having started operation in the early 1970’s. The signature game was Pong. Aside from video games, the company delved into consumer electronics, home computers and video consoles, including the Atari 2600. Although there are several video game makers in the industry, Atari continues to stand out as one of the most innovative.

Considering the company continues to make products, customers need the assurance the company has their back in the event they have questions or concerns. This is why the customer service department is available to answer concerns by phone, email, traditional mail and through social media.

Customer Service Email

When customers connect with the customer service department by email, they are in fact using a customer feedback form to open up a support ticket. The applicable departments include mobile, product key, technical support and game play. We sent an email relating to technical support. We wanted to know if the technical support department was available 24/7 for gamers playing around the world. The automated response stated we should receive communication from the customer support team within two business days.

Our Experience

When we contacted the customer service department we encountered the standard automated system providing an excessive amount of options. The system was a bit confusing. Instead of directing the call to the customer support team, there were options to call a different number/department. Overall, we waited more than minutes before reaching the correct department and the customer support team. We asked the representative for information relating to the security of the online play, in particular, are the games rated.

The agent explained the hard copies of games are rated, whereas online gaming is not rated by the ESRB. The agent went further to explain Atari groups various online games into age appropriate categories. The call was simple and to the point after the confusing beginning. 2. Hello, I am emailing because i bought roller coaster tycoon, and my computer crashed and wiped my hard drive i have the computer fixed but i want to know how can i re-download my game.

  3. There is no legitimate contact phone for Atari support. I purchase on line through ATARI’s website Ataris Greatest Hits. Charged my credit card.. Three days later told me I need to buy another version said “trial version”. There was a full fee plus additional downloads charged to my credit card. Help manual refers to Hasbro customer service-both number either do not work or go to telemarketing company. Call Hasbro said they have nothing to do with Atari now. Tried to call Atari phone number listed on this post fast busy signal hour after hour so it doesn’t work either, Sent Email no response. Basically Atari should state “We are a scam company” on its website. Charges to your Cc then games cease to work and no support. Beware OF Atari!
