Customer Service Email

We filled out the customer service email form and asked if there was a similar customer service email address we could use if we did not have access to the official website to use the available form. We were given a reference number after submitting our question. You can also access your Advanced Auto Parts account (online registration required) to update the question and track answers.

Our Experience

We called the customer service phone number, but we were unable to bypass the automated system by pressing 0. We pressed 3 to talk with customer service about a local Advanced Auto Parts store. The call was placed on hold for slightly more than two minutes. The agent answered the call and we asked if we could have a product shipped from one store to another if someone else paid for the order. We were told that was not possible, but the paying person could order online and have the product shipped to my local store. The agent was friendly and attentive.

  1. I was a so called winner of a 500.00 gift card from advance auto parts after being selected while looking for parts on their website. I was instructed to enter my cell number to get a code via text to get gift card.
    I think they must think everyone in the world has a cell phone!

  2. I purchased a 14A2A 4 wheeler battery in Grenada, Ms at Advance Auto around August 15th 2013. It worked fine for about 6 weeks. Last week I parked my 4 wheeler one evening and the next morning it would not crank. I charged the battery and the next day it cranked but the following day the battery was down again. I pulled the battery out of the 4 wheeler and charged it on a trickle charger in my shop over night. The reading on the battery the next day read 100%. I let the battery sit on the table in my shop over night and checked the next evening and it only read 62%. I returned the battery to the Grenada Advance Auto store and the store rep. Darrell told me he would have to charge the battery and test it before he could tell me anything. I told him it would take a charge but it would not hold a charge. I returned to the store an hour later and Darrell ran the test and told me the battery shows good and he could not do anything. I told him thanks that I would go somewhere else and buy a battery that would work and throw this one in the gargage. He laughed and I left. I went to Wal Mart and bought a battery at half the price I paid at Advance and the 4 wheeler has cranked every since. I would like a refund for the battery that went bad since the battery has a 90 day warranty and only lasted 45 days.

  3. Good morning.

    I am a Auto Advanced customer for many years and made no complaint whatsoever on the services. The last time I took my vehicle to be fixed, was the upper strut mount that goes to the body of the car and to the shock absorber. This is located in the front passenger side. This job was done around October/November of last year. Wednesday past my wife was driving then all of a sudden something broke lose and on the same side where it was fixed previously. The top bolt that holds the shock absorber in place and mount had came off and the wheel has tilted outward. This cause my vehicle to swivel then to a stop. The car cannot be use and must be tow and send it to Auto Advanced where I sent it to be fixed. I saw the damage and notice the spring lost its form and God knows what other parts.

    My question is, what procedures should I take, who pays the tow and damage to the vehicle.

    As I can see the mechanic did not tighten the upper bolt on the shock absorber enough that cause the damage. :(

    Please help me fixed my vehicle cause I need it urgent. I live in Puerto Rico. My cel phone is 787-215-3479
